The true issue at hand and choice being made is about using taxpayer money to either keep the people oppressed as energy consumers or empowering them to become energy producers, selling alternative power created by solar homes and small business to corporations which are currently energy subsidized by public funding of large centralized power plants giving low rates to corporate entities who consume huge quantities of energy.

Water is already being privatized in South America. Energy caps would be a good thing, if it would benefit everyone, but this bill will do exactly the OPPOSITE: those rich enough to avoid the caps will be making huge amounts of profits on the backs of those, who can't.
