  • I learned a shortcut for adding automation the other day, you just hold down all 3 modifier keys (cmd, opt, ctl) and click on what you want to automate. A great little shortcut!

  • Hey, you gto real good and helpfull videos, thank you all for that... i got a question... do you know how can I change the tempo between two parts of a song in pro tools 8???... for example let´s say that the song starts in (142bpm) but after a few parts the song needs to change in to a (100bpm), and then in the final part again wants to change to (142bpm or whatever)... it is posible to do that and to program the click track for do that??? if it is possible, please explain it. i´ll apreciate it

  • hello, it is true that Pro Tools only funtion with a mixer or I can connect mi microphone (guitar, piano, etc) directly to my pc ?

  • Hi @valentinaat94 What you need to be able to record audio into Pro Tools in an audio interface. When you buy Pro Tools it comes with it's own audio interface called the Mbox. This will allow you to record via it's USB or Firewire connection.
