my grandfather told stories about the hukbalahap. the Philippine rebels against the japanese. those stories were the most heroic i have ever heard.

I would like to express my full grattitude and admiration for the courage and valor to the heroes of the Bataan death march. this is not a horrible event but a trihump of life and heroism in the face of an evil japanese enemy. LONG LIVE OUR BATAAN DEATH MARCH HEROES!!! GOD BLESS THEM ALL!!!

my granpa survive this march, he died in oct. 2006 at the age of 88. hes story was so scary and a true brave pilipino.

my great uncle survived this march....he also had 4 or 6 purple hearts and some other medals..i cant remember which ones..i wish i could find a list of the survivors

Thanks for this piece of history. My grandpa walk this infamous route, too. He died in 1981 and is interred in the Heroes' Cemetery at Fort Bonifacio. He never told his story, only saying that no one should experience that again. I watched with tearful eyes. I intend to tell my relatives about this video.
