Even if you don't care for AC/DC which I can't fathom why? You have to admit that Angus and Malcolm are prolific Rock'n'roll song writers. Not counting live CD's, Concert DVD's, or Movie Tracks they have put out 18 original Albums/CD's with an average of 10 songs on each. That is 180 original Rock'n'roll songs (huge fucking library) and you can count on your fingers the number of mediocre ones out of the 180. Most bands are lucky if they can even produce a Best of CD with 12 good songs.

Eric Clapton, Duane Allman, Dickey Betts, John Mayhall, Johnny Winter, Peter Green, Danny Kirwin, Jeremy Spencer, Peter Townsend, Paul Butterfield, BB King, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Howlin' Wolf, Keith Richards, Ron Wood, all used pentatonic, blues runs in the late 60's to present. You can add on Joe Perry, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and the lead guitar player for REO Speedwagon, I can't remember his name, and of course Angus Young in the mid 70's.

but the difference is they didn't use the same runs over and over again (except bb king who is highly predictable), and honestly all of those guitarists can get past those pentatonic runs with their solos, i have never heard angus young branch out of the overuse pentatonic licks for his solos, and he still has tried pass off blues riffs that have been done 1,000,000 times before as original riffs.

First time i saw AC-DC was in monsters of rock 1984 stockholm great gig as usual then i gothenburg 1986,sthlm 1988,gbg 1988 gbg1991 and THEN THE MAJESTIC MONSTERS OF ROCK in COPENHAGEN 1991 and in Moscow!! then i missed them 1995 in gothenburg Grrrrrr they got 5+ in Aftonbladet that year!! but then i saw them 2000 in gothenburg and 2001 in ULLEVI and 2009 in Globen and 2009 in ullevi both ullevi concerts was a BIG PARTY around 60.000 hailing fans WE SALUTE YOU AC-DC!!!!
