Fascination and amazement combined with a little whiff of actual joy. I really love the detail that went into it all. Love the story behind it.
I have not tried the game out. I Actually it will be the first game I will play in my new game-room with the Colecovision being the first console I will turn on! The only accessible systems I still have running are a laptop, a pc and a ps3 which I will pack in last.
I think it's at sealevel or a little below. But don't worry we Dutch people are used to that. We'll just pull a ' Waterworld ' if global warming continues :P
Looking forward to playing it. I am fighting the urge to hook up the Colecovision and play but then I will loose too much time I could have spend packing stuff in boxes. :P
Royal mail is a good service too. Although I am still waiting for a MD game to arrive from the UK that is out there somewhere since halfway October....
everyone condemns the royal mail workers when if they got behind them it could have finished the strike off ages ago
its all to do with privatisation plans and the work loads, the management changed how they calculate the average delivery of mail and its actually went up but management say no no its went down
so less workers with more mail to deliver and the workers where not happy about that
I wholeheartedly agree with people trying to better their working conditions. People don't go on strikes for nothing. And I don't mind waiting for my package - it will arrive in due time.
It sucks being a postal worker, when everything is working more than okay people take it for granted and if only one thing goes wrong - a single parcel or letter being misplaced amongst thousands and thousands than people wine and bitch.
I hope British Postal workers get what they need!
Privatization and commercialization can only go so far, you can't just continue to optimize things and not take into account the human factor. A job must also remain do-able and humane. In a lot of fields industry, service, healthcare the human factor is not taken into account enough..... :(
I did watch this video again, I like your emotion (fascination?) while checking the manual.
I don't know if you did try it or not... well, I hope you like the game in its cartridge format.

I have more questions for your q&a (I guess), one of them is "will you live under or above sea level in your new home?"

Yeah it's the MacBook doing this. The mike is better on it than on my Windows machine.
Indeed UPS sucks! Always extra costs. Although you do get blazingly fast delivery!

they deliberately held my item overnight so that they could charge handling and warehouse fees
dirty horrible trick! then they charged me £20 for tax that i wasnt meant to paid! but i couldnt do anything about it
i like to use royal mail ive yet to have an issue with them at all and i like to support them too

exactly its the general population that dont realise this
they tend to think its just greedy postal workers asking for more money when its really not at all like that
im glad i met someone who understands, lol took me to find someone out of the country to understand the situation
