  • It's Buster Keaton, the clown with the sad face. Inspirational.

  • 1:29 is Tarsem laughing. Tarsem knew he couldn't get the exact voiceover from her so they kept it.

  • BUSTER KEATON :D

  • I see some Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, and Monty Banks in here :)

  • i love that brief moment when the two trains crash into each other

  • *sigh*

    priceless

  • yes, tx. an amazing ending.

  • this ending made me cry so hard. It was so beautiful

  • I was crying during this scene. it was so damn sweet. that little girl is realy goos :')

  • I don't understand the ending, I've seen most of the film. This is the guys job. What happens...? Does he do it? Does she save him? Or does she only save his soul?

  • @PrincipalMu she saves him but it's not black and white like that. I guess in my opinion, she doesn't take away all the bad stuff, she just makes him want to keep trying. You should really watch the whole thing though

  • @PrincipalMu She saves his spirit.

    SPOILER ALERT

He has a broken back, and at that time it was, as they say, a "career ending injury". He can't do what he used to, but if you watch, look at the man with the artificial leg. He has a job as someone who can take an arrow to the leg, for example. They can find a niche. Take Braveheart, they hired a lot of amputees for the battle scenes, so they could hack off fake limbs! It wasn't the end of his career, just a change, and in the end he knew that.

  • Those people were absolute lunatics! I once read about a scene in a Jimmy Cagney movie where- in a shootout- he dove behind a bar just before it was chewed apart by live rounds from tommy guns! Man must have had balls the size of watermelons. "Screw it, just give me a 3-count so I know when to duck and then start firing!"

  • @PrincipalMu: The little girl saved the young man from killing himself from overdosing on morphine while in the hospital. He then recovered and went back to his career doing stunts in the movies. A happy ending after all.

  • @PrincipalMu We are seeing scenes from the actual movies he did. The guy was a stuntman and they were not well protected, their work was really bad that most of them died. That's why the main character tries to kill himself, he's fed up of his job. The ending is the little girl finally getting around to watch movies where he was in, and she's explaining that she recognizes him as the stuntman. I don't recall if he actually died in the end of the movie, it's been a while. I recommend you watch it

  • @Sikhindu I thought he was suicidal because his fiancee went off with another man?

  • @MoonPhase94 I agree, that was the main reason. And I must echo some of the others by saying, BUSTER KEATON. That is all.

  • @MoonPhase94 It's been a while since I watched it, and I watched it only once. Maybe a woman left him, I don't know, but my interpretation of it was the bad working conditions and that everyone around him was already dead.

  • @PrincipalMu He survives and is stuntman.

  • @PrincipalMu ah, now I remember, maybe he may die and she remembers him watching the films he made. Dies or not the final is fantastic and doesn't change much the effect of the film.

  • Thank you for posting this last scene, it's such a great ending to a great movie!

  • cantyoureach, I have a question for you. I want to rent The Fall really bedly, but it's rated R. My mom will want to watch it with me, so is there any parts in it that I should be warned about? Besides the dying?

  • @AnimeVampire1234 I don't know how old you are but the only reason the Fall is rated R is for violence, and even that isn't very graphic or anything. It should have been PG-13. I think your mom will be fine with you watching it, unless she doesn't like any kind of violence. Like I said though the violence isn't very bad at all.

  • @AnimeVampire1324: No naughty parts. Though it's rated "R" it's more dramatic than risque.

  • Thank you so much "cantyoureach".

I often watch this last clip in the movie (scene 27) because it brings me so much joy. A child's innocence, Beethoven 7th, silent film stunts. Over-fucking-joyed! It is nice to know someone else appreciates this scene. Thank you.

  • An amazing ending to an amazing movie =D I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as I do.

  • @puffswami a lot of people love this scene :) It's beautiful and moving.

  • Hazañas como estas son mas resaltantes que las rodadas en la actualidad, la forma como arriesgan sus vidas merece una ovación de pie.
