  • this vid is banned from my facebook, looks like someone really wants to run their house on broken eagle wings

  • I posted your video on my page because Facebook has apparently banned you. Hope that's ok.

  • There you go folks, your tax dollars at work.

  • I guess they can farm Methane Gas from the Rotting Bird Carcasses for more "Environmentally friendly" Energy

  • yeah, stupid bird......

  • Idiot enviro freaks killing birds with their idiot windmills.

  • AWEH SHIT NIGGA

  • Lol y r birds so stupid

  • Thumbs up for environmentally friendly alternative energy! Birds don't count.

  • Was that a Bald Eagle... J/K....

  • i thought it was really funny then i felt bad cuz it looked like it was badly injured...BUT it did it to its self lol

  • That's what humans are causing to nature... I'm a dog so don't blame me

  • Mayday! Mayday!

  • stupid bird, but good video.

  • Saving the environment??

  • I'm adding this to my faves because of the comments not the video, well maybe because of the video too lol. Got bronchitis and Laughed so damn hard I coughed up blood.

  • why the hell didnt you rescue it

  • @davidfanimation cause hes a vet right? gtfo of here bitch

  • @burkey218 you must b a burk incase you dont know that meens 100% stupid

  • @davidfanimation bahaha what? your calling me stupid when you spelled almost every word in that sentence wrong hahaha you mad bro step the fuck up

  • @scorpi0ch1ckie; consider that saying "Why would you continuously glide around a wind turbine is like saying "Why would you float down a whirlpool you dumb ass?" Haha they said Don Quixote.. That sucks for the bird though. There are ways to avoid that as well.

  • Don Quixote?

  • pwned

  • Never seen nucelear power harm any animals. Vote kristdemokraterna

  • @MrChallelito apparently you never read about Chernobyl?

  • @scorpi0ch1ckie

So we are incapable of maintaining and regulating nuclear power when we have the greatest "What not to do in case of nuclear meltdown" example right in front of us?

  • @scorpi0ch1ckie That was a result of poor management. The problem could have been easily avoided. Look into Chernobyl; there's a lot to learn. Nuclear power on a whole is safe.

  • @MrChallelito Dra åt helevet

  • I don't know if I have to feel bad because me and my friends were laughing, I'm crying because I was hysterically laughing!!!

  • poor thing.

  • houston we have chicken

  • Comment removed

  • @daneo101 evedently it's endangered for a reason

  • Well... ok.

  • I would hope that whoever was filming this had the decency to go and knock that bird on the head after that happened.

  • It's interesting, though why anyone would 'like' this is beyond me.

  • I feel bad

  • WORLD RECORD: BIGGEST WIND TURBINE

    Visit: windturbinecarriedbywheels.weebly.com

ZERO-NOISE from the gears and the generators because they are sealed underground (Only the outer parts of the turbines may be heard.).

SAVES THE BIRDS AND BATS because the turbines are slow-moving since the speed is in the transmission gears and in the generators.

DOES NOT NEED TO OCCUPY WIDE LANDSCAPE because the turbine can be very tall.

HELPS THE WIND ENERGY COMPANIES because it is FREE FOR ALL.

  • good for you bird, you shouldn't fly in our land bitch

  • WORLD RECORD: BIGGEST WIND TURBINE

    windturbinecarriedbywheels.weebly.com

THIS SAVES THE BIRDS AND BATS and helps the wind energy companies (FREE FOR ALL.).

  • ironically that vulture was waiting for other dead birds.

  • Heuston we have a problem....

  • Im going back to listen to tyler the creator...

  • Evolution at work.

  • lol

  • dont let the tree huggin hippies see this theyll freak!!

  • he was looking down to eat one of us. no natural preditors above him so there is no

point waisting valuble time looking up. sad but the vulture would have no pitty ripping

your gutts out as you lie dieing on the hot sand looking up to see if the rescue chopper

    is on the way

  • what the hell was that bird, its huge

  • @xTheAprilrosex Yes, bird is the word....

  • I'm sorry but that was funny!

  • nuclear powered windmills are the way forward!!

  • @emilyabbie ummm. there is no such thing as a nuclear powered windmill...

  • @gregdials Give the man a coconut! *one hand claps*

  • @emilyabbie Have you notice the stupidity proportion of what you just said ?

  • @0lMelhor No but i have noticed your acute lack of sense of humor.....

  • "da f**K just happened..."

  • Fake. Look at the camera shake at 0:10 - the wind turbine stays in place, but the bird lurches left and right in sync with the camera movement. Not likely that a sudden lateral wind gust could reverse that quick in complete synchronisation with a camera shake and cause no disturbance to the bird, yet this bird moves back and forth horizontally without a single adjustment to its wings! Also, a rotor strike at that speed could be expected to dislodge a lot of feathers from a bird of that size.

  • @juggins95

that is a zoom out, you moron.

  • @Erxification Thanks - I stand corrected.

  • @juggins95 you are a moron

  • @Sneader83 Correct - I stuffed up, as a more complete version of this video shows that it is very likely to be authentic. Shows what a little more research can achieve, doesn't it? Seach "Vulture accident" to see the full picture ...

  • the rotational speed it low but the tip speed is really high

  • @khalilovH

    is*

  • How is it that no one got the safe efficient nuclear energy joke. are you all trolling or did you actually take him seriously?

  • Stupid bird.

  • after he fell he looked depressed

  • @killajimgreen Wouldn't you?

  • was he ok?

  • @karlene8089 No. Most likely died shortly after. He basically suffered the same impact of being hit by a car/truck. On top of that, he hit the ground pretty hard, probably fracturing more bones and rupturing organs. Internal bleeding usually takes care of the rest.

  • 0:16 Fatality

  • Just one less dumb bird farting co2.

  • stupid bird.. tried to attack the wind turbine. FAIL!

  • oh poor bird

  • heppolt wind turbine woult not happen look at HEPPOLT WIND TURBINE.

  • animals aren't stupid. they get bored. when we drive down a country road, some times birds will intentionally fly infront of our car. i think they are playing a game.

"i'm gonna make it *splat* ...."

    "ooooh, bob didn't make it"

"whos ready for the next round, we got a semi comin!"

  • maybe he'll be ok *bird hits pavement* oooooohhhhh...........

  • Windmill used Razor Leaf....

    It´s very effective!.....

    Spearow is paralyzed!..... tzztzzzzz

  • @h0rT3xUs Grass is inaffective towards flying -_- learn your Pokémon.

  • I hope He recover perfectly. The impact should be not fatal.

  • I does kind of look like a bald eagle.

  • @chevelle396guy its a vulture, it looks nothing like a bald eagle

  • our teacher showed this in our physics lesson, to show disadvantages of a wind turbine...

  • Walk it off.....youll be fine.

  • bird thought: no risk, no fun :D

  • You can't win with environmentalists, they all contradict one another. If it were up to all of them we'd all be living in caves or we'd all be dead so that the planet could go on without us. "Your killing the birds!?" Please, Shut up. Coal = CO2, Nuclear = 100,000 year waste storage and thermal pollution of waterways, Turbines = Dead Birds, Solar = Taking up land used as breeding grounds for wildlife. YOU JUST. CAN'T. WIN!?

  • That bird should have known better. It was probably a dare from one of his friends.

  • just a buzzard who cares. and for the people bitching about how this kills birds? so you rather a nice clean coal plant. or a nuclear plant? look at Chernobyl. nothing will ever live there again.

  • @TJDeadkid there is life already there.....

  • THIS IS FAKE.

See 0:11, camera moves sideways, the bird is not.

  • its the damn birds fault for flying next to it anyways the blades really are not turning that fast

  • More birds die from windows...just saying

  • thats good for the enviroment it stops our great great...........grea grea grandchildren from dying of carbon minoxide poisioning. haha the goverment wont last that long fuckit save the birds

  • Was that a Califorinia Condor? Way to go Al Gore!! First we got ethonal consuming 41 percent of US corn production. We could have prevented 80 million people from starving to death instead of making the worlds most inefficient fuel source. Now we're killing fucking critically endangered birds. According to wikipiedia there's only 181 left in the wild! Make that 180 now you meglamanical fucktard. This shit's just the tip of the Iceburg too. All so you can become the 1st ecobillionaire.

  • All these hippies here make me sick... It's a damn bird, who gives a damn, I sure as hell dont...

  • fake!!

  • haha stupid bird!

  • I think the future of green energy is........ OIL

Yep, that wonderful goo is here to stay and we have plenty of it. Get used to it you stupid greenie libtards.

  • @Orchard6773 Actually I'm from the real south (Non like you) and live a very oil feeled life and I support being green and I support the Idea of wind mills, As they are nothing new, The people who lived on farms way back when used wind mills to pump water, Supply electricity, power some farm equipment and a lot of other reason.

    So you fail..

  • It ain't easy being green, is it? Stupid liberals.....

  • OMFG nooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!

  • burn garbage kinda like killin two birds

  • Fan guards?

  • So what do we do? Build coal plants - because they are safe for everyone forever?

Or better yet - ban electricity?

Wind is needed - unless someone discoveres cheap clean fusion.

  • Arsehole Global-Warmists bastards.

  • OMG :O

I would help the bird ...

I would go to the veterinarian

    and then a adler :O

Sorry for the mistakes i live in Germany .

    LG

  • Didn't his mom teach him not to play in spinning blades?

  • Oh the irony

  • thats just sick. horrible. i feel bad for that bird

  • D: Awwww Poorar birdie

  • ban windmills]

use efficient safe nuclear power instead

  • @matchbox555 safe... (lol)

  • @matchbox555

Really? Nuclear power is safer than wind power? When things go wrong at a wind farm, several birds die. When things go wrong at a nuclear power plant, well... Chernobyl (just to name one).

  • @matchbox555 safe and effcient right? tell Japan that and the people at herioshima

  • @dantheawsomeman oh i meant urkaine

  • @dantheawsomeman shut up you whining bitches

the japanese plant was an old design

we need energy, nuclear is the way, we cant power fucking disney world on windmills

  • @matchbox555 you're right, you couldn't power disney world on windmills, but you could with wind energy converters/turbines. How much power do you think disney land consumes? 25M? 30M? That's only 4 Enercon E126's. Fuck it, make it 5 and you can sell the extra power back to the distributor for profit.

  • @matchbox555 actually u can, the maglev windturbine can power the whole of the untied states energy supply and i dont live in the states canada :P

  • @dantheawsomeman it cannot, or at least it cannot be built. Think of it as the space elevator, but just less realistic

  • @cullensvisions they wont biuld them realistcly but in our tech class our team biult a small scale model that produced actual eletrcitcy.....just saying but i know there never be biult

  • @matchbox555 Somehow I have a feeling that nuclear power might have caused more death and disaster than windmills..

  • Safe nuclear power....of course!!!!

  • @matchbox555 yep, and jut ignore the fact that you end up with tones of radioactive material and really no way to safely dispose of them. Or the fact that nuclear is actually much more expensive that Wind, and that you wouldn't have any nuclear unless the governments picked up the tab. Oh wait, wasn't that an argument being used against wind...Oh snap...

  • @PbVoz we can safely store any radioactive material

grow up and embrace the future nuclear age

  • @matchbox555 , cost effectively?

In a manner it will actually last for the 100 year half-life guaranteed without spills? I guess you can not worry too much about that, it's just your grandkids generation that is going to cop that...

  • I do know that the newer reactors do use the spend fuel rods of the older generation plants, but if nuclear did proliferate to provide a large share of the electricity demand, there would again be an issue of fuel supply, fuel shortage, and just too much damage from companies that cut corners in order to get a few million more in profit...

  • @matchbox555 Yea that may sound like a great idea, but I'm sorry to inform you that there's no 100% safe nuclear power.. And the nuclear technologies we have today generate A LOT of waste which can't be stored anywhere near humans, so yea.. Great idea..

The best way is to use both windmills AND nuclear power, and then hopefully in the near future, we'll have developed Fusion nuclear instead of fission, google that and learn..

  • @TheKooleh look what we need is nanosolar cells and fusion... until then we will use nuclear fission.. but wind is mostly bullshit

  • @TheKooleh Actually you'll find they can build fail safes into nuclear reactors very easily; eg using gravity to transport coolant and thermal expansivity of boron to separate fuel. They generate very little waste actually, because nuclear waste = nuclear fuel. Many technologies already process this to provide power.

Wind is a terrible tech. It generates a ton of toxic waste when obtaining materials for the dynamos for each turbine, they are intermittent at best and generate little

  • Is it me or is there something wrong with the video at 0:08

  • The video just proves how foreign wind turbines are to the landscape and to nature.

  • It's called natural selection. If the bird is dumb enough to fly next to the blades which can reach up to 180mph, it deserves to die. Death is the result of life, you can't make every damn thing live forever and painlessly. We going to outlaw car windshields and radiators too because there's a lot greater chance my 13 dinosaur to the gallon Mustang is going to obliterate bugs than a bird gets hit by a windmill.

  • Ok wind turbines have a 0.003% chance of killing a bird and secondly, more birds have been killed by cars and building than wind turbines so by the logic of some of you lets tear down every building and car in the world

  • Fake...

next time; don't zoom in only one vid... looks funny when the eagle grows 100% an move but the turbine not a bit... or that the eagle can fly trough that kind of vortex without getting in trouble...

  • haha

  • @capricrow I do understand Fluid Dynamics, but the vortex at the tip (or trailing edge for that matter) is not enough to cause the bird to loos control when flying through it. That's what I'm trying to get at.

  • @capricrow dude, windmill's spin WITH the wind, not by a motor. They don't cause turbulence because they spin reminiscence with the wind, so this is real, and even if it is not (which it is) this still happens.

So know, you don't know, Mr Hang-glider, and hang-gliders are not as maneuverable and as adaptable to weather as these birds. these birds (amazing creatures) can adjust their winds to glide in the wind. Do some research on the effects of aeronautics in birds and windmills, good knowledge

  • dont just stand there ! do something!!!!! always wanted to say that :P

  • let's take away ALL the stuff, that would include, oil, coal, from the 'green' people. They can pitch a tent far away, and have a good time.

  • @bfs1888 anyone points out a problem are the enemy eh? You probably hate the ozone hole scientists. Maybe the general public who cause all the problems should have all their toys removed until they can play better?

  • Respond to this video... Bats go through these all the time, and the vorticies can cause their lungs to rupture. Of course this is real. Why would anyone fake this crap?

  • i wonder what the squirrel population would be if it weren't for cars,,lol

  • @bfs1888 Awesome point!!!!

  • Good to see there is not only humans that are ediots

  • LMAO thats funny stupid bird

  • Poor bird did it die?

  • Comment removed

  • it was a vulture

  • @PaMortgageBankers, I Can't agree with you more. All this rainbows and unicorns garbage is deadly and impotent. If the enviro-nazis keep this up we should be a third world nation in a decade or less. Why do the enviro-nazis ignore this kind of killing? As long as these are running they're killing 27/7/365.

  • R.I.P Bird :'( :D

  • These wind towers are stupidly inefficient.

  • one shot one kill. i feel bad for the eagle QQ

  • I second California Condor

  • pahahaha dumb ass bird

  • idiot bird, it just got what it deserves

  • California Condor.

  • The wind turbines kill hundreds of eagles every year in this one location. It shouldnt matter what kind of bird it is, they all feel pain and suffer.

  • @waterfowlrescue A lot of things kill a hundreds of birds every years. One of them is the habitat destruction caused by coal mining. I don't want to undermine the environmental effect of wind but when compared to coal, it's very clean. Clearly, there is no perfect solution for electricity generation, so we need to choose the lesser harm. We only have a few economically viable solutions. Wind is one of them.

  • @Tamizushi

How would underground mining affect bird habitat? Strip mining possibly I guess. Problem is if you would ramp wind turbine numbers up to the point that you could replace coal.. and I am not even sure that's possible. Then calculate the bird deaths. Coal is 80 % of our power source. Spend the money on making that cleaner. We have a 200yr supply.

  • According to eia, for new power plants installations in 2016 (which more relevant than now considering how long it takes to build them) electricity will cost by source in $/MWH

    95.1 coal

    109.7 clean coal

    136.5 clean coal with CCS

    96.1 Wind.

building clean coal plants is more expansive than switching for wind.

  • @Tamizushi

Building them.. OK.. but how much power do they produce compared to coal, or natural gas etc. I am not bashing wind.. But it is not the golden egg solution. I think we will need multiple sources until someone invents the next amazing thing.

  • Most studies I have read on the subject have counted a very low bird death rate associated with wind power. They are also very localized. I think it would be less expensive to study bird behaviour on site before building a wind farm

Strip mining represent 66% of US production. Also, global change is sure to contribute to bird habitat destruction.

  • @Tamizushi

Did not know strip mining was 66%. I know that's nasty stuff.. But the reality is we need the power. And if were not gonna build Nuclear plants we gotta do something. I think we should do all of it... and pick whats best for the situation. Solar works great in Arizona.. No so much in Ohio. It's amazing to me that as the worlds superpower we don't really have a national energy policy that really works.

  • @kens97sto171 Considering the impact of coal on the environment and on public health, I would support almost any other energies to replace it. Nuclear has its problems but they have been greatly overstated. I don't see why nuclear waste should be treated like anything more than a very dangerous poison. Sure we don't want any of it leaking out but very little is produced per unit of energy and it's manageable. The biggest problem with nuclear is the cost.

  • @Tamizushi

I think we are on the same page. I am all for Nuclear, but shit we have not built a new plant in 30 years. I am not saying coal is the best option overall. But we have it and I think should continue to use it in as clean a way as possible till we decide to get off our asses and do whats needed. Solar and Wind are great. But I don't think we could power the country on only those two options.
