The only left grandmaster lives in Bangkok (Thailand), he doesn't teach foreigners and he only teaches the best Muay Thai fighters. It's a dead fighting style, came into existance in the time of middle age. Thai Army in these days trained it to kill enemys as fast as possible. But Krav Mega is also very good, expect your enemy is wearing a jockstrap (to protect your balls :D) and has no weapon, then Krav Mega sucks :)

So therefore it is pretty dangerous. Moreover it is the most aggressive version of close combat! Muay Thai must be used with great care.

@BakMau The ninth weapon is the head. It's not used in modern ring sport muay thai for safety reasons but in muay boran it was used. in case you don't know muay boran is like the older brother of muay thai.

Tony Jaa is not a fighter, he is a performer in muay boran. Although he knows the moves he could not handle a real fight with a pro fighter, Bruce Lee couldn't either and he is much better than Jaa.

Muay Boran is the Mother of Muay Thai. WIthout Muay Boran there wouldnt be Muay Thai. Its Muay Thai minus Boran (Ancient) Techniques which now make it legal for sport and entertainment. Your better off doing some research there so much more info than just Muay Thai itself.

thats not quite true, tony jaa trained martial arts for a long time before he began with muay boran, he trained for example krabi krabon (an old style of muay thai) and also kung fu and kendo

so who knows maybe he IS invincible
