WELLL if you want to make a video of PC gaming, i reccommend using FRAPS. it is excellent excellent quality (try youtubing videos for thoughts) , AND there are torents you can get for free version ! hope it helped :)

@blakemets7 Um, I can't make any phone calls without it dropping or the person I am talking to cutting out or not being able to hear me. The camera is extremely slow. I can't change my wallpaper. And I've had to restart it once.

When it comes to capture cards, dont buy something cause its cheap, you WILL regret it. I went straight to an HDPVR. its also the most popular one. I had to pirate a program called "HDPVR Capture" to work on the mac but that wasnt a big deal. If you cant afford the $200 right now, i would say to just wait until you can. STAY AWAY FROM DAZZLES!!!!
as to your Capture card Q. the HD PVR is the best you can get. for the US its $199 which is a bit high as you said you want a cheap one. BUT the Hauppauge HD PVR is the best one that works with the Mac. thats the One I use for all my gaming videos.
