i was there too.. after we finished, everybody rushed off the street to catch Ron on Jay Leno.. and as soon as the street cleared, a bus full of new yorkers pulled up, and a guy passed out rudy signs for abc's news telecast a block away. rudy's organizers are slick... that Ron Paul rally was spontaneous.. Murphy's & Manchester seemed 100% Ron Paul.. 8% and last place seems real fishy to me...
I was there too and we had a mutual agreement to LET them tape and they agreed to give us some good shot in exchange for us being quiet during Andersons talking segments.
Everyone was happy with this arrangement. It seemed acknoweged that we ALL had the right to be there and both parties stood to benefit from cooperation.
Quit rooting for issues. There are plenty of real ones to go after.
I implore you to use your energy and sense of outrage for real action.
I was there. I didn't catch what the agreement was, but something along the lines, in exchange for letting us stay in the background and panning across the whole group, we would cooperate and be quiet while AC reads his lines. I heard that they tried to film this segment the day before, but couldn't because we were so loud when shouting in front of the hotel where the media were staying. Don't quote me; someone else, who knows for sure, would have to verify what I only heard. watch?v=mKjLfLDH2H4
We just got behind him to get on camera. There's nothing stopping them from going somewhere else where we wouldn't be able to, to get the shot they wanted. After they were done, we left and walked around the downtown area waving signs before heading to Murphy's. We were trying to get behind any and every camera filming because of the media blackout.

Anyone else see the irony where people are yelling "freedom" and then everyone shuts up because someone acting authoritatively tells them to?

I look at freedom from someone who is oppressing me, not when I choose to cooperate.

They "let you" stay outside, on public property?
You don't have a problem with this?
