Amazing how you didn't get caught, but I always wanted to see a Montgomery elevator machine room in action. Also, were the lights in the room fluorescent or sodium?
Pretty nice room. There's times I'll go in the elevator room (depends on location) and just get the motor, gives the specs about the motor and then leave. I'm with suzzex I don't want to touch anything.
Like I said earlier, this was for education and entertainment purposes only. I knew what I was doing, and I was sure to be careful and to not mess with anything I didn't know. I still don't understand why most users are complaining about this. I thought all of you would be awed to see a Montgomery machine room, especially since they are not the most common of elevators.
Some people complain because they just don't know. They just don't have nothing good to say. I have film two machine rooms (one a Montgomery and other Otis) and I have those on here. BTW I should be able to film those Schindler's with the low pitch chimes this week. Since Little Rock got hit with 8-10 inches of snow and ice last week.
You really shouldn't be going back there unsupervised. a machine room is a very dangerous place. Thankfully, you came out alright. Other than that, great video!
Are they relay controlled panels?

I think it was fluorescent, but it's the camera effect that makes the light yellowish.
