  • Same personnel as on volume one of the "Jazz at Preservation Hall" series on Atlantic Records, circa early-60's. Available on CD, last time I checked, and worth every penny. Not a rock record, but it ROCKS! This video brightens any day. Was there more?

  • I am pretty sure this is part of a rehearsing session before the band went to Washington D.C to take part in President Kennedy´s First International Jazz Festival in 1962. There they played in the parade with Chris Barber´s Band.

    Sheer jazz history!
