wow 1.6 million.... wish i had that, lol i rember when they did this, i live across the road from there in that red house :P i watched them do it hehehehe, but why did they want them removed?

The federal government of Canada paid 1.6 million dollars to have them removed. They were towed to Port Colbourne, Ontario, where they will be scrapped by Marine Recycling Corporation.
