    nerdy vid, but cool nonetheless

  • LMAO AWESOME

  • I can see you have your priorities straight.

  • My girlfriend made a coment like that the other night after I showed her a vido of him: ask him if he has a girlfriend or something.

Because as soon I sit down in my computer my girlfriend ask me for something. I have 6 keyboards and not able to use them because she does not let me. All I can do is to watch Youtube and see for a few seconds what other do with theirs :(

  • Your girlfriend is a bitch or you really suck at playing...there never should be a time that your special someone should limit or cut you off from what you really want to do.

  • Well... you wold have to see a picture of my girlfriend too. She has a bikini model body and mmm.... that makes some things harder. If I was blind I would have kicked out of the house ages ago but... the body...

  • OSCAR FOR YOU ..... AMAZING !

  • 1:26

  • well done! xD

I gqess it was a joke! xD

  • I think it wasn't a joke, look at one of the knobs in the moog, it's actualy teaking at the same time that the wiimote was moved, it's awesome!

  • oh, ok. =S

  • I have to post again:

  • gattobus i think this is brilliant. The theremin sounds cheesy of course, but i love the concept and your creative, original melding of technologies, plus using some for stuff it was never intended. Nice! Also love the lighting, very thoughtful. Thanks for posting this.

  • this would be hilarious to do live, worth dealing with the inevitable geeklash even.

  • lol awesome man i want a phatty too ...

  • nerdgasm

  • @TehConqueror

    orgasm

  • You know, if you put 2 IR LEDs onto the palm of a glove, you could use that to control the volume too.. There are also other ways one could do this with some elastic, might work better than the glove.. This video is great :D I'm all inspired now..

  • i want a theremin ;(

  • Get one! SoundslikeburnsDOTcom from $80-200 (about) Moogmusic=$400& up

They're a lot cheaper then I thought they would be...

  • This is great, funny yet clever at the same time!

  • When you want to hack than buy a Wii... but the games are verry Bad

  • how do you get the wiimote to do that

  • WiiMotes use bluetooth to connect to the Wii. Using bluetooth, connect a Wiimote to your pc, then gather sensor data using a program whose name escapes me. From there, you can easily pipe that data just about anywhere; here it is sent to a MIDI controller, which is altering the frequency OSC knob on the Moog Little Phatty synth. Wiimotes are fantastic xD

  • This is fucking awesome! Well done it does sound like a Theremin!

  • lol hilarious, well done!

  • I don't know why, but it makes me laugh, in a way that I'm impressed and pleased you took the time to make this! :D Great work

  • AAAAAHAHAHA!

  • geniale!

  • That was phantastic that was.

  • HAH! Brilliant!

  • sei malato... scusami ma devo dirtelo

  • Great proof of concept but you couldn't do a different song?

  • Wonderful! I agree with Misterpew, one can't help but get cheered up by this. Can you do a Dr. Who Theme next?

  • brilliant

  • nice work!

  • lol that was awesome!

  • Fucking awesome!

  • Lol nice! Theremins rock. That does sound like one.

  • Oh, from the beginning I loved Theremin but now I also love Wii remotes :P

  • This video always cheers me up when I'm pissed off.

  • DUDE! Why does the beginning of this song sound like The Next Generation?

  • That's how the original theme sounded, they just updated it by the time of The Next Generation

  • This is an awesome video and a great and fun performance and experiment. Very cool.

The little phatty has such a gorgeous sound to it too, I've been thinking of getting one myself actually so I can add that unique Moog sound to my setup.

  • I have one. I would highly recommend it to anyone with money. Mine's going back to the factory for repairs and mods. The Moog sound is almost as awesome as the customer service!

  • great idea ;-)

  • sweet :-)

  • GHAGHFAHGFAHGFAHGFAHGFA

  • lol

  • man moogs are just amazing

  • BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Cool! Or should I say PHATTY!? ;-)*

  • LOL

It's like when you see someone who sings in playback, you feel it..

Anyway, the different angles are not coherent with the notes in the different parts of the song : it's pretty obvious especially in higher notes.

It's also pretty obvious with some high note intervals (at first, a little angle gives a semitone, and later in the same angle range, about the same angle gives a min 3rd hehe)

Maybe there's another parameter which controls the pitch than angle ?

    Anyway who cares ? :/

  • How do you know?

  • it's not and your retarded for not being able to look up the information about how it works.

  • thats the best thing ive seen on theremins lmao

  • CLAP! CLAP! CLAP!

  • LOL....CUTE!

  • i see what he did and thats no theremin
