Before last yrs Thanksgiving Game in Dallas, this was the last time Dallas beaten Oakland since then. in 1995 and not again until 2009. Damn!

the cowboys could have beaten the 49ers because the cowboys had a young reciever named kevin williams who went miles austin down the stretch that year. he wasn't a factor early in the season because troy didn't trust him, but late in the season, he came on strong. but for the cowboys i think it was a mental thing not a physical thing. i don't know if they believed deep down that they could beat san fran. one thing that really hurt the 49ers was the lack of a running game that year.

Well they went into Dallas on Nov 12 without Deion and killed the Cowboys so yes had they played again, I do think the 49ers would have won.

In addition to turnovers, everytime the niners offense got in the redzone, dallas buckled down and sf walked away with field goals. Going back to 94, again dallas wasn't at full strength with smith battling an injured hamstring. And i don't have to bring up the terrible no-call on deion. The niners may have beaten them in 95 during the season, but playoffs are different.

Dallas lost Aikman in that game against the 49ers, effecitively ending their chances of winning the game. Yeah, they would have pounded the 9ers had they met them in the playoffs.

@cbaldwinjr - LOL@ Vince Evans! I'm not a Cowboys fan, but I like the no-name Cowboys of the 2 earlier championships. Those guys also ate up my Raiders in 1992 when we had Todd Marajuana-vich. There weren't any big names -- just a good coach in Jimmy Johnson and rising stars in Aikman, Irvin, Smith with some no-names.

I always hate seeing that interception by Deion. I remember everyone crediting him on the play for closing speed when it was simply an underthrown ball. You don't catch Rocket.

If you mean Dallas beating Green Bay this year to make it to the big show, no way in hell. Its the Saints year. Dallas is mediocre this season, especially with that cream puff Wade Phillips at coach. If we ever get a decent head coach watch out but right now the best I can hope for is a Wildcard win and that is if the Boys don't choke away the season with losses to Philly and/or Washington.

I think Dal would have beaten San Fran b/c we had Deion Sanders now. Deion was a big factor in that loss in 94 to them. With him off the Niners, Aikman could feel a lot safer throwing towards their corners, and they also didn't have Ricky Watters that year.

The Niners beat us by taking out Troy. That's it. That 94 team was a make or break team. Look at the rosters. They bought a defense and lost it in two-three years.

yeah, but if you watch the gm you would be able to see that the cowboys were not ready, and did not take the 49ers seriously. you could tell just by watching their body language. they were not ready because they didn't care. i heard my man barry switzer actually flew to arkansas the day before the gm to watch his son play college football. that tells you all you need to know about how the cowboys were approaching the gm. if they had a good game plan they would have won easily.
