my best is 39.946. i did it with a mii i created. if u make it as short and as skinny as you can they get to top speed quicker.. then i did a handoff to shadow without letting him get much of a run before the baton handoff.. then i gave it to yoshi making him run as much as you can before he gets the baton.. then one more quick handoff to sonic and Ka Pa! lol
