YES they are Vestigial. This Ostrich uses it's wings to keep warm, keep cool, shelter it's young.

you don't necessarily need wings to keep yourself warm. feathers would be much more efficient. in fact it would be quite stupid to design something like a wing for insulation purposes. those wings are clearly vestigial; initially meant for flying, now serving another purpose. (similar to someone building a house in the shape of airplane)

@shaithinshoe Just because it's vestigial does not mean it is useless per se. It can have other secondary functions (mating call, balance, insulation). Only its primary function is lost (flying).
