80's but I never had the chance to really experience any of the outer surrounding islands. After seeing a documentary about Agnetha on youtube, it said Agnetha lived on an island outside Stockholm and was very reclusive. It also discussed how she met and had a relationship with her stalker.

As a broadcast producer of over 32 years, I agree that Agnetha has one of the most beautiful female voices in modern pop music. Clear, amazing range and at times, almost angelic. But consider also Karen Carpenter - who had one of the purest singing tones I've ever heard. And justin64, I agree: Lennon's singing voice was average, at best. But greatest male pop artist? Sorry - that goes to Paul McCartney. From composing, to performing, to his amazing variety of singing styles, Macca has no peer.
