I don't know how you can't hear it.

I'm not a guitarist, but i can hear if one plays pretty tight: for instance, Satoshi plays better than michael angelo in his old speed kills video (i'm talking about sweep-picking). I say that a guy sucks if he plays like shit, and Satoshi doesn't play like shit. And will you tell me why this is not musical? what's your idea of being musical?

Especially with the excess of technically proficient guitar players since the early 90's. Jason Becker's "Perpetual Burn" came out in 1988 when he just turned 17 -- not to mention his work with Cacophony earlier on at 16.

You don't have to be good to enjoy playing guitar either, you just have to have fun. Guys like Satoshi are incredibly average bedroom guitar players, and giving them instructional videos and big budgets is exemplification of playing that simply isn't a big deal.

I do agree that there are plenty of guitarists out there that can play at this level, but can they write like he can. One thing is playing and another thing is being able to write/compose. I've known plenty of guitarists that can play stuff like this but can't write worth shit. This guy has talent, there's more to music than just getting the notes right

Love this song. Satoshi is indeed a talented guitarist who has his own unique style of playing. That sweep tapping is so darn clean. Pity that I can't seem to find out what happened to him and what band he's in now or anymore of his music. For the people who say that this has no soul or feeling, check out from 1:01 on. That clearly has feeling to it and if you're too ignorant to understand it, you clearly have no soul yourself. Darn Satoshi, making me envious. =P Wish we'd get more from him.
