Wheeljack was one of the few autobots other than the Dinobots that I thought was really cool. I think the fact that there were so many autobots by the time that season two came around that it was hard to give them all equal time in the cartoon series. Even Prime has a few episodes where he is not a primary character like God Gambit, Sea Change, Auto BOp, and a Decepticon raider in King arthurs court. Decepticon raider featured hoist and Warpath, two of the most uninteresting autobots ever.

I didn't much like the fact that the Armada Wheeljack had defected to the Decpticons prior to the start of the series. But the story behind it does make it understandable as to why he defected.

It could have been Windcharger or Ironhide in the tomb. But there's a problem. Ironhide got his face blown off, so it probably is Windcharger cuz the dead bot still had a face...

In the movie, It was Smokescreen who was meant to appear, Not Wheeljack. Put on top of this that even when Wheeljack's (albeit f***ed) 'corpse' is shown it isn't actually black/grey.

Place on top of this his appearance in Transformers Victory........ Deceased, I like to think not!!!

Sorry, it was only it the STORYBOARDS that Smokescreen was dead in, Wheeljack's corpse was the right color for sure. Transformers Victory I don' know much about but I heard it came out before the movie came out in Japan(before they knew he was dead)

There is a screen shot of wheeljack in Smokescreen's colours seconds before the full animation of his corpse which can be seen on my Wheeljack: Dead or Alive video, But for the sake of politeness and knowing the greed of Hasbro, Wheeljack probibly was killed off, I just like to make people think, :)

u no wheeljack actually lived in the movie..it was an error becuz the body was suppost to be smokescreen and not wheeljack..and later on u can see him fighting the decepticons shortly after..he also apears in headmasters and transformers victory

Man, that picture of the dead Wheeljack was a sad thing to see. Letting Jazz, Starscream and all the others die was really uncalled for. I never really accepted the post-movie figures to be G1, even though I actually did like the toys such as Cyclonus, Wheelie and others (I have them). The fans and the whole world knows Optimus is the only real leader and not Rodimus.

Though you're probably used to his transformation now, I've done a video on Wheeljack's reverse transformation incase it helps dyansis. I guess you have to have really flexible finger for the hood bit.

Hey, Dyansis, I'm very happy you mentioned the part in your review about who the Autobot corpse was who fell out of his tomb when Daniel accidentally opened it when he was running scared. I really believe it's Ironhide and it's quite a disturbing thought as I really love Ironhide and was very upset to see him killed the way he was.

I don't get why everyone has so much trouble with Alternator/Binaltech Wheeljack's head & bonnet. I had some trouble getting his head through, with the big cheek fins and all, but everything seals together nice and tight. But maybe I just got that 1 lucky sculpt that did fit.
