  • Aww, thank you, that's such a lovely compliment! I'd love to see yours when you finish. It's so easy and a fun craft. :)

  • What a great idea!

  • Thank you. :)

  • That was smart;)

  • Thankyou! :)

  • How's the colorfastness without the aid of chemicals?

  • It will fade over time. The length of time depends on the flower/foliage used, and the type of fabric. To make it last longer, you can heat it up and 'set the stain'; toss it in the dryer on high heat, and that will help it last longer.

  • Thanks for the tip.

  • You're welcome. :)

  • ...And hey, this is way too inexpensive for a final product that lovely.

  • The pressed flowers are fun too. Both ways make lovely projects; and nice, affordable decorations or even gifts. Thanks for watching! :)

  • With "Pounded", I was thinking of stone, clay, chalk & the like, not--never--flowers...lol! This is interesting, the closest we've done in grade school was laying-out flowers & foliage (previously flattened & dried in-between book pages) on thick paper & framing the "assembly"...Ha ha, actually, the imprint the flowers & foliage left on the pages between which they were pressed is the close thing to pounding, not the finished frame...lol.

  • Wow, that's amazing. I've never seen that before.

  • I first saw it about 10 yrs ago, in Birds n Blooms magazine; and thought it was a neat idea. Thanks for watching! :)

  • i'm not usually an artsy-crafty person (i have no eye for decorating, etc) but i may try this one out, that turned out just beautiful!

  • I'm not a crafty person either; stuff I make usually looks like a 5 year old made it, lol. But most garden projects are much easier than they look. Please let me know how it turns out, if you try it, I'd love to see. :)
