In fact if you liked rock 9 times out of ten you hated disco. Look up disco record burning, people still hate as much as they do now, just wasn't a constant flux of them complaining about it.

BTW, I hate pop music of all kinds. VERY rarely, will something come around that is appealing to all people and of any significant quality. That's because honestly, most people are shallow emotionally, and therefore cannot appreciate the deeper flavours that are often present in less mainstream music. When i asked him what he thought about the statment "music fron the 60's and 70's is better than today's" he said that it made him sad that people don't take the time for find what is worth while now. There is as much tallent out there as there ever was, you just have to look for it.
