I really can't think of a movie I like more, or have seen more times. I own it on VHS, DVD, Digital copies on several computers, and watched it while it was instant on Netflix. Sci-fi, action, humor, romance... there's nothing this movie lacked. Unfortunately it was stacked against a loaded deck of big-budget releases and never got the attention it deserved.

I remember when this movie came out...it's pretty rare when I see a movie during its initial run (theaters, then video stores) and get the sense that it's going to be an enduring cult classic before it has time to properly age. I love all the little things you can miss when you first watch this. To me I love when Perfect Tommy changes outfit in the middle.From punk rocker in white to a suit. Its when the group turns the corner. I think one of the other people does a double take at Tommy.
