Top of the Pops had a Love/Hate relationship with live performances, mainly due to certain bands going beyond what was acceptable for BBC broadcast. This was a constant annoyance to Robert and it came to a head in 1989 when they performed Lullaby on the show. Eventually Top of the pops gave in and allowed "some" live perfromances - usually the ones you wouldn't be interested in seeing if your here and reading this!

believe this was around about 83'. this was a good era for the 80s. lots of posh hot technowave girls to be had. you can tell the cure were into the dance side here. i like when they have this influence in their music. can't stand there dreary shit. the 2-3 early years and mid 80s were there best imo. certain things in the late 80s were alright too.
