I want to ride in a supercharged one. I ended up getting a greddy turbo in mine. I love my set up and the high revs of the vtec, however I am going to swap my k20z3 for a f20c (JDM). Thanks for posting this video man.

@luminaeus im not sure i understand you. when you press down on the clutch the engine speed slows down to allow you to safely switch to a higher gear, when its released the RPMs can climb again. why do you need to rev match to do this? all that rev match seems to be doing is adding another step to the shift and making it slower.

Rev matching saves wear and tear.

When I get on the highway, I usually take 4th gear up to 80mph then shift to 6th. I put the clutch in and pull the shifter out of 4th. I wait a second before putting the shifter into 6th. Why? Because the input shaft is still spinning faster than output shaft. If I let it slow down on it's own that's less wear and tear on the synchromesh. Same for the clutch and engine. I wait for the engine to get to 3k rpm, then I let the clutch out.

There's a reason why Civic's can't run hard buddy. Mated with that transmission, you can't put all that power down at once (as evidence by your shifting). It's a Civic, not a Ferrari.

What Civic's lack in torque make up in low weight/ high hp (with forced induction) dumb ass. The only reason cars like mustangs, camaros, etc. have more torque is because they are so damn heavy so they can actually get their ass off the line somehow.
