  • How to get my family and the society around me ready up psychologically for my suicide in order to prevent them from being affected??

    Please answer honestly

  • @abdurrahman0487 There is no way unless you were never liked to begin with. I think if you tryed to make them hate you it could make it worse as they would be sad about losing you and having guilt for arguing or ignoring with you. Honestly you should talk to someone about how you feel. Also No matter what your family will be affected Weather it be bad or good the effect is still there. You can't touch water and not have a ripple. Hope i helped.

  • i hope this is the last christmas alone for me. i think about it everyday.

  • Suicide is natural selection at its finest.

  • @anythingnew Then commit it

  • @kawaiisrs07 Yes

  • @mab1977420 for reall??

  • Im gonna kill myself in about a year. I think I can last THAT long thats it.

  • @hydrocarbonxx please dont pray instead

  • @hydrocarbonxx I'm not sure if you're joking, being sarcastic, or mean this. But, if you mean this, I understand how you feel. I'm 19. And my life is just so fucked up. I'm finishing my last year of school now by doing homeschooling cause public school fucked me up so bad. And, it seems like whatever good I try to do, I don't see no point in my life. I cannot take care of myself, so once my mom dies, I'm probably going right behind her. Maybe sooner. I give up on life.

  • Why do some many people have problems with people talking the truth.

  • why do you have plastic explosives behind you? u gonna suicide lulz?!?

  • Nice "facts" wiseguy... People who take psychtropic medications have a bigger risk of committing suicide.

Why do you think because these people were put on antidepressants in the first place, because they were so happy with their lives ?

  • DO A WEB SEARCH ON:

    charles h. miranda OR:

    charlesthepoet2003

    THANKS.

  • I'm gonna kill myself because I permanently ran out of marijuana. Bye.

  • Or alkohol.

  • @Patatoid Life ain't worth livin dats the truth about suicide

  • @Patatoid Get fucked up on herion and then commit suicide u won't feel pain while ya dyin

  • The first 12 seconds almost made me kill myself...

  • Pedophile !

  • sleeping pill + 2 bottles of beer is the least painful way to die.

  • You can't always see the signs I've been suicidal for such a long time and many people haven't picked it up.Many who have either haven't bothered much or have been powerless to change my mind.

  • @rebel779 Is it like slient suffering?

  • @Tokiohotel192 Yes it is it's like pure hell.

  • @rebel779 :( I feel sympathetic to anyone who's lost someone to this :(

  • @Tokiohotel192 Thank you for your understanding.

  • your voice in incredibly mundane

  • i need a gun

  • Comment removed

  • @ignatei I have electricity what does that suppose to mean

  • @Obinn77 You say you need a gun to end your life, I said you don't need it when you can do it by electrocution or gas inhalation, etc, which are just as quick but less messy.

  • @Obinn77 me too, plus i also need 1 bullet

  • This is not the truth about suicide. It's just fucking statistics. The psyche truth channel is such shit. Psyche truth could at least stop putting misleading titles like this one.

Pffft ...the truth about suicide. Thanks for more smart ass depressing facts asshole, it really helps my depression... Fluorescent Black.......

  • women... most suicide attempts are by women(attention) but men commit most successful suicides (sick of life) feminist should fight for this equality ..... help men SUPPORT SHARED PARENTING! and decrease male suicide in the process

  • @themaniusedtob I think you should look at it differently. There is more to it. the ratio is in fact greater for men, but there is a lot more depressed women. just the need for attention is a reason to get help. Everybody has their reason and all pain hurts. no offense but who are you to say that one persons pain isn't as important or hurts as much as someone elses

  • @kawaiisrs07 Dont make backward rationalizations to justify women getting more attention on the suicide issue while men are the ones committing more suicides. Women are not MORE depressed then men, men are more likely to hide any sign of sadness and told by men AND women to "man up" or "be a man" when they even complain about anything that may make them suicidal, women are encouraged to show emotion and they get more attention for it in comparison. Its YOU that needs to look at it differently.

  • @themaniusedtob it's not backwards, and I'm not saying that women are more depressed. I'm saying that there are more women that are depressed. You are seeing this as a competition but pain is pain whether you male or female. It is easier to detect with women because when are naturally more emotional thats just a fact. when you go to a sad movie you rarely see men cry but women are crying; not for attention but because women are more sensitive and emotional. What are you so mad at?

  • Comment removed

  • @kawaiisrs07 Your justifications are backward rationalizations for the greater focus on womens suicide when men are the ones killing themselves most. To YOU, this is competition. To me its disproportional focus. You focus on more women being depressed, I focus on more men killing themselves yet women are getting most of the help/attention (like the vid) for suicide. No, more women are not depressed than men. Men HIDE symptoms more, it shows up (in incomplete stats) as more women are depressed.

  • @themaniusedtob DUDE. at first I thought you just didn't understand what I was saying but you are a woman hater. And you think you are God, knowing how people really think and feel. I help anyone that I can see may need it, male of female. YOU on the other hand will only think about a man because you don't take women serious (no respect). YOU are very narrow minded and blind. PLEASE don't even reply until you have REAL knowledge over this, but you don't know SHIT. UGH! smh

  • @kawaiisrs07 I only think about men? No, I only think about proportional focus of an issue, to the degree in which it effects an individual or group of people. Focusing mainly on suicide for women when more men are killing themselves is like focusing more on breast cancer for men when mainly women have most breast cancer. Where did I express any hatred of any kind for women? YOU replied to me first, NOT the other way around. So take your own advice and 'go get some REAL knowledge'.

  • For people like me it's best to leave this world before old age set in.

  • @ignatei Why? :(

  • Comment removed

  • @ignatei same here :D

  • Most people don't follow a psychological health schedule. Most people who criticize psychiatry have never partaken in a psychiatric treatment, and are usually just repeating the propaganda which political parties or cults (coff-Scientology-coff, coff) has told them to repeat. I agree that not everything should be cured with drugs. Psychiatry is not all about drugs, and more people need to give themselves a chance to explore their own mental health accompanied by trained professionals.

  • Comment removed

  • @smkipus thats nice, its also called assault. and if they do jump maybe because of what you have in mind i would think that you could be charged as accessory to murder. Happy Jail-time.

  • correlation does not mean causation. The depression increases the likeability to take antidepressants but it also increases the likelihoood to attempt suicide. . Ever thought of that very probable connection?

  • I WANT A GIRLFRIEND

  • I started on psych meds when I was 13 Prozac had just came out and I had some severe reactions not to mention the constant nausea. It quickly proved to do nothing so the doctors raised it to a intolerable dose - I switched doctors I've had adverse eddfects to the point of passing out with antipsychotics and have been admitted once for SSRI overdose and 3 times for benzo overdose.

I am NOT against meds but doctors are quick to prescribe without thinking how it takes 6 weeks for even a mild effe

  • Great video! Taking those psychs drugs is very dangerous , I didn´t knew that.

    Good Job.

  • the truth is im killing myself

  • @michealcorrison53 Not literally I hope.

  • Is this a deleted scene from Pineapple Express? I don't really understand the jokes can someone explain?

  • I'm sick of people talkin about signs to look for and ways they can determine if a person is on the edge. People who are truly suicidal don't talk about it and they are gonna kill themselves no matter what. People will die. That's life.

  • @ArmchairMessiah one of my good friends last year was going through some things and he talked about ending his life. just like you, none of us really took him seriously and told him to grow up. about 1 month later, early in the morning, he ran himself in front of 2 semis. i'm not trying to be controversial or anything, but you need to be careful on what you say about suicidal people because it is a curable illness. different people act different ways....

  • @ArmchairMessiah Actually it's very common for people that committed suicide to first have talked about it. Maybe just once, or more, and then of course there are those who just act out directly. I believe there are signs that suicidal people show, although finding them and understanding them aren't as easy as some make it out to be.

  • @ArmchairMessiah Would you give up on a friend or family member?

  • @PinkInca Probubly..

  • @ArmchairMessiah I agree; people are gonna die, that's life... I personally don't know whether other people can do anything about it but I do know that people DO talk about killing themselves before doing it. Look up the facts dude.

In some circumstances you're actually being really selfish by thinking 'if people talk about how they're gonna kill themselves that means they're not actually gonna do it'. You're basically saying; it's not my problem that they're having huge problems, let em die

  • @happyorangeanimation Unless you experienced feeling like that then don't talk. i know someone who died because someone rushed them into it. Infact it was a person like you who called them scared and challenged them. They showed signs and people like you took them as a joke. Why risk it? you dont have to be an ass. SOOOOOO much you dont know

  • @kawaiisrs07 I agree with you; people should generally be taken seriously if they threaten to kill themselves, it should atleast be investigated. Some people are just gonna die though. I'm one of them, I know that some people are just gonna die because I'm pretty sure I'm going to do it (commit suicide) myself.

  • @ArmchairMessiah so not truee

  • @ArmchairMessiah not true. honestly people who cry for help want to kill themselves but a part of them wants to live or doesn't want to feel this way and look at suicide as the only way

  • The very beginning noises made me lul my pants.

  • Comment removed

  • Correlation does not imply causation. (e.g. most Americans die in a hospital but that doesn't mean hospitals cause death) A correlation between depression treatment drugs and suicide does not mean those medications cause suicide. In fact, the reverse is probably true. Depression causes the consumption of anti-depression drugs as well as suicide. This guy tries to sound all scientific but clearly he knows nothing about statistics

  • @152czar I'm guessing you've never tried an anti-depressant before? "You may have thoughts about suicide when you first start taking an antidepressant, especially if you are younger than 24 years old." from Drugs(dot)com... Now, I've taken Zoloft before and I never became suicidal but I was certainly "strung out" less than hour after taking a dose. These meds cloud your thoughts and can make you delusional or withdrawn, you just feel weird, and that can be enough to invoke suicidal thoughts.

  • @FloormanofAlabama Someone in Alabama call the police on this man.

  • John Malkovich's line from "In the Line of Fire" keeps echoing in my head -

"Name one thing in your life that has any meaning"

  • I want to commit suicide.

  • @VictorHugo289mex Are you serious?

  • @BrownAugust1987 Damn right I'm serious, dude. ; )

  • i have a glock but i dont wanna end up surviving and then being mentally disabled for the rest of my life..idk what to do

  • 25% of people who commit suicide never show any signs of depression.

  • I'm a psychologist and I respect this wrong-made investigation, but you definately can't blame the medications for the actions that psychiatric patients make, they're not sick because they take medications, they take medications because they were already sick, one real problem might that there is not enough vigilance on the medication taking, but everyone is responsible for their own life. In other terms, a pill won't come to you and kill you, you chose to do it. You chose how to live or die.

  • @karlozib Yes, pills WILL "come up to you and kill you." they ARE at fault because these drugs mess with your brain chemisty and cause you to think irratically. Many Medications are evil and are allowed by the FDA to make money. Same with A LOT of anti-depressants. Ever hear of the lunesta commercial listing all those side-effects? These medications like ritalin exasperate a problem, not cure it. Stop advocating this way of life by sayins "Oh I'm depressed, drugs are my onl cure" Its unethical

  • @POTATER1228 They are pills, they don't have legs to walk into your mouth, if you don't fucking want to take them, just don't do it. I'm a psychologist and we give therapy so people can solve their problems by talking, medications are given by psychiatrists to really sick people so they can keep under control, they're not evil, that's just stupid and childish. Sorry if I was rude.

  • @karlozib We live in a society where we take drugs for the mildest problems such as headaches or problems that dont need chemicals. Although they dont "walk into our mouths" America tries to obligate us to take these drugs. We live in a drug-pushing society lead by pharmaceutical companies and the broken FDA. How many commercials have you heard that have the line "Have you or a loved one suffered toxic psychosis, death, or stroke from ________ medication, if so..." To make cash off people.

  • @karlozib doctors, psychiatrists, even psychologists are propagators of drugs. They hand out prescriptions for drugs that have adverse side-effects on the human body and mind. But dont question it. Ritalin is one of the best examples.

  • @POTATER1228 What? America tries to obligate us to take drugs? That's not true at all, and psychologists can't tell people to take medications, it's forbidden, and even if it was true, the decition is always up to us, so don't put the responsability on anyone, You consume, don't blame the seller. As I said, don't want them? Don't take them.

  • @karlozib Yes we do, why do pharmaceutical companies like to get nice trips to Hawaii to doctors? to get them to pander their drug. And yes the descion is up to you, but when its prescribed by a doctor, you tend to trust it. Lots of unsuspecting people do. Pharmaceutical companies everyday are sued because their "medication" harmed or killed those it was presribed to.Have a headache? take tylenol. Have sleep ambien? Take this drug that'll put you in a coma

  • @POTATER1228 Hahahaha, in a coma? Ok, I agree, there is no perfect medication, they all have adverse effects, true, medications cost money and they sell them really expensive, it's a part of commerce, true, but they don't kill people, people kill themselves for deeper reasons.

  • @karlozib If you take a dozen tylenols then that will be the LAST headache you'll ever have. And like I said commercials that say, "Have you or a loved one suffered death, heart attack or stroke from *insert medication name here* call 1-800-We-Screwed-Up. You may be entitled to cash or..." Yes pharmaceutical companies take advantage of people for their money, selling them uncertain, possibly damaging or lethal products

  • @POTATER1228 lol thats bullcrap, once i took i think half a bottle, not kuz i was commiting suicide, but kuz i was young and stupid and thought i was gonna get high. i admit i went through some pretty raunchy shit, like puking yellow and purple shit, cold sweats like mad. but im still alive an kickin!! my liver is proboly toasted too.

  • @david292978 yeah key word there is "I think" How much exactly did you take? And you still were miserable to the point of being violently ill. Not all pill ODs are in fact sucessful. But try it again by eating the whole bottle and call me back. Try mixing with a 40 oz beer for good measure

  • @POTATER1228 how but you go fuck your self

  • @david292978 How about a compromise. You do what I asked first (eating a whole bottle of painkillers with a forty). And Then I'll glady fuck your brains out! :)

  • @POTATER1228 fucking pedophile ass mutherfucker, i thought i was bad, your just fucked in the head there buddy. go do your family a favour a jump off a building before you go fuck some litttle boy after giving him painkillers.

  • @david292978 Ooh homophobic name calling. So clever. That's some highschool bullshit.

  • @POTATER1228 yeah okay there, you love them little highschool boys dontya? you fucking tart.

  • @david292978 I should. Being a woman.

  • @POTATER1228 i rest my case then, i thought u were some dude.

  • the pic at 4:29 really scared me! the way it flashed.

  • Simply allowing myself to express myself has given me reason to carry on.... no more supression... i have a voice... my existence counts... I'll make sure it does! as should we all...... come and listen for a while, i've been there too... BlueAndTofar - Middle Way. (smile)

  • Through early morning fog I see...

  • WHAT ,S FOR DINNER

    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

  • There should be more attention on letting the patient know to stress to the Dr the medication isn't working. Over years, I changed my medication several times before I found one that is truly perfect for me. I think back about how close I came to giving up and ending it on more than one occassion. I certainly should have shared my true feelings about not feeling the drug was doing the best job more frequently.

  • oh didn't know u commented on this vid too SPARTAN

  • Cya world...

  • People have a choice to committe suicide. It's necessary.

  • @Pickdivision

As much as a drunk driver has a choice to hit a person while under intoxicants.

Suicide is a really destructive alternative which most of the time is not precisely the best solution to the problem that drove them to it.

If someone is willing to take their own life, they are desperate and need help solving their problems so they can stop making such ill-advised decisions. Most of the time, when people are given that help to achieve mental clarity, they'll reconsider their choice.

  • @Ebvardh people think people who want to commit suicide are too stupid to think for themselves.

  • @Trentambersmith Not at all! I never said such a thing.

What I'm saying is that your frame of mind and emotional state tend to influence your actions.

Sometimes, those two things are set to such a way that your mind is driven to hurt oneself instead of looking for mental health, which would eventually be the best option.

  • I think it's weird how people don't think about suicide. Life is full of pain, suffering, and worthlessness. And to top it all of, god doesn't exist, so your dreams about heaven are out the door too. So knowing all of that, why would you want to live?

  • @38michaelllogan Do babies think about suicide?

  • @38michaelllogan Because the world is beautiful, take away all the hate and pain and it is there. You can find it maybe not in everyone or everywhere but most of the time. I have never once met someone that hasn't shown just one single piece of kindness no matter how little it is. Aswell as that EVERYONE has enjoyed atleast 1 second of their life at one point.

  • @38michaelllogan What is worse is finding out that God does exist and that he is a fucking asshole that creates your pain and suffering.

  • @HitlerWasRight2010 thats a possibility

  • I don't understand how people can be so certain that psych drugs are a cause of suicide. It would make sense that there would be a correlation between psych drugs and suicide, but it's possible that this is because the drugs simply aren't very helpful to some people.

  • I would, but the people interfered, so now I have to stay alive to save others from the same fate. I am truly miserable. I just spent an hour with the front of my brain coming back on line, and it's unbelievable painful because I have to fight freezing at the same time.

  • I would say that suicide is selfish in the sense that one could use one's life for the betterment of the world. Save a dolphin, talk to someone in an old folks home, help someone get off the street. Make a difference in the world instead of running away from its problems.

Any time you feel like ending your life, feel free to do so, but just make sure nobody on the planet needs help doing anything first.

The Key to Awesome: The Step by Step Guide to having an outstanding life.

  • @ShinkaTV Right on (Even though every single day I have to think way i dont commite suicide)

  • The great sadness, and why people try to kill themselves, is because they don't connect the drugs with how they are feeling. They just THINK that they have gone mad when the truth is the DRUGS have caused these terrible feelings. It takes quite a while for this damage to heal, but you will heal IF you get off them. It isn't you, it's the drugs. Pharmaceutical companies are targeting children now more and more and also people who have no say, like people in nursing homes.

  • Just ONE tablet can send you into a hell that you cannot believe. There is some indication in the research that they can help with very severe depression (with antidepressants) but a very close watch should be kept on the person. The level of terrible suffering and death that has come directly from pharmaceutical drugs will never be known but it is MASSIVE. Don't take ANY kind of pharmaceutical drug if at ALL possible. We are trained not to question. QUESTION. Question big time.

  • One of the most horrible drugs that CAUSE panic attacks is the antibiotic flagyl. This drug is used for many infections, often vaginal infections in women. It works but it can cause horrible side effects. Anti-depressives can make people feel so terrible that they kill others and themselves. All the big shootings where lots of people have been killed, the people/kids have been on prescribed drugs.

There is no money in health. Pharmaceutical companies rule the world through money. Research.

  • Thank you so much for putting this information up for people to see. I'm still watching it. Pharmaceutical drugs are to be avoided at ALL COSTS. ALL drugs including over the counter drugs if possible. Drugs for depression and other drugs affecting the central nervous system are the worst. But all drugs affect the central nervous system. Things like drugs to lower blood pressure can cause depression, anxiety, hallucinations and so on. Even antifungal cremes can cause problems.

  • The only thing I don't like about this data is it does not say that if after they came off the drugs... did they stop feeling susidal or was they more susidal? The drugs may not of been strong enough or was just the wrong ones and making it worse... so... its not very accurate since most people are on drugs are having problems hense why there on drugs...

  • problem with antidepressants is that it can cause 'post SSRI sexual dysfunction'. Thousands of men got permanent impotency for the REST OF THEIR LIVES after quiting the antidepressant. it's called PSSD. You can read about it on wikipedia. it's no joke, read the forums about people having PSSD. PSSD means sex problems even if you don't take antidepressants anymore. newspapers report also about this permanent side effect, it's horror for everyone experiencing this. Google it. you should be aware

  • @jeezusolordy they did worse to me. They GAVE me WORSE problems. Now I'm screwed.

  • What the hell - this isnt a real program - its just some dude talking into webcam....

  • Im gonna END my shit soon just waiting for the bottom to fall out

  • @brandozieman Most people who get to that point know that people just want them to anyway.

  • @brandozieman Let me know...I'll go with you so you don't have to be alone.

  • There is nothing wrong with ending your OWN life. Suicide is a fundamental human right - it is just deciding the circumstances for the inevitable death. Your life - your choice

  • @HOLDTHAPHONE you have a point but you wouldn't say the same thing if you knew (or know) someone you love that is considering suicide right now

  • @PrinceOfBabylon YES I will/would.. If i love a person i want the best for that person and if that person decides that ending his/her own life is the best for him/her - I would understand and support that decision! I think that life should be about quality and not quantity

  • murder and antidepressants is the real delicate issue

  • People also just jump off cliffs who are not on antidepressants in the first place.

  • I think all ppl need to look death right in the face. Kinda like saw. Then you r given a choice do you want to like or die.

  • @bonedraman I agree that when you have looked at death in the face, you become more enlightened about the meaning of life.

  • Weird...my anti depressants and benzo's keep me from killing or cutting myself and/ or harming someone else. I've tried to kill myself without meds.

  • Three types of suicides, 1) the person knows the rest of their lives is going to be painful, eg painful terminal medical condiction. 2) those who are at the end of their rope, they just want to escape the pain and problems in life, it is kinda like a nervous break down that results in taking their life. 3) Attention, they are hurting and they want someone to know, a cry for help I guess you call it, most of those that survive suicide attempt are these people,

  • @2Roo7ted 4) Impulsive Self Hate, not living up to the standards one sets for self.

  • Wow.this is gay. I'm not saying tht talking about suicide is,but still he should be talking about ways to cope. I've tried this myself. So don't bitch at me

  • I never wanted to suicide me until see this documental

  • this is boring

  • Dude, you talk like it's surprising people on psychotherapeutic meds attempt suicide. Do you KNOW they're prescribed to people experiencing mental illness?

It's not really a huge leap.

  • i dont like that accent its too old lol

  • Comment removed

  • hate that accent

  • why does it seem like people (i.e family, friends, etc) care about you more when you're dead than when walking the earth full of life?

  • @DaMostEnigmatic Because they feel sorry for you.

  • @DaMostEnigmatic ive always wondered that

  • @DaMostEnigmatic Its not that people don't care when you're alive, its just you don't think they have to show it as much, because in their mind, they think you KNOW how much you mean to them.

  • @DaMostEnigmatic

    Isn't that the truth.

  • @DaMostEnigmatic that isnt true they care about you all the time from the day your born, it may not always seem like that but its true. It sometimes takes a shock to make people aware of how much they care.

  • @DaMostEnigmatic because they feel u are strong and they think u can take care of urself, and they dont feel a need until its too late, its natural human behavior, usually underestimating other's pain until its too late

  • @DaMostEnigmatic its obvious...

  • @DaMostEnigmatic It's easier.

  • @DaMostEnigmatic Publicity - everyone likes the sympathy pat on the back when your kid kills his/herself. Like the parents of Matthew Shepard or whatever - they sure don't want a gay kid for a son - it's best for their careers that he killed himself.

  • @DaMostEnigmatic That is so true!

  • @DaMostEnigmatic Hi! Would you mind if I re-posted this comment on my website. I'm working on a short film titled 'Lay Bare' that is based around the topic of suicide

  • @crazycurves1 GO AHEAD

  • @DaMostEnigmatic because the term 'you don't really appreciate what you got to you lose it' Is true ... you get into such a routine you don't realise how important those people actually are x

  • @DaMostEnigmatic

I don't think they care more about you once you're dead, they just care care that you're dead because they cared about you. If that makes sense?

  • @DaMostEnigmatic Because of the fact that they're gone. People often blame themselves when a loved one or friend commits suicide and they'll sit time and time again wishing that person were alive. This is what I don't get in life and you couldn't be anymore correct.. people know suicide can be prevented but they don't act on it.. family, friends, etc notice someone is contemplating suicide but fail to do anything in preventing it.. They'll only care when it's too late.

  • @DaMostEnigmatic THANK YOU thought it was just me. Its like evryone loved and cares about you once your dead, when your alive your here and no one truly cares until its too late.

  • @DaMostEnigmatic Probably because they feel that the world will look at them with contempt so they feign empathy to try and redeem their selves.

  • i hate phsychiatrists and stuff. they have no real idea of what we go through and only make it worse.

  • @Looopieee i cant agree with you more on that

  • @Looopieee Psychiatry is a sham; it's the least scientific of all the sciences.

Most psychs are lazy, arrogant, and lacking in real empathy . They come to quick conclusions and push the latest pill Big Pharma is promoting. No wonder our

    society is so disfunctional.
