@killerspeed101 bullet proof? you got to be kidding me. you drop down to a pulley smaller than stock you can bust your pistons real easy if you dont have it intercooled. these engines can go boom real quick if you dont upgrade properly!

My car's definitely not stock or muscle, but the races against the V8s in the Detroit Iron class are pretty even, so they let me in. That Z28 sure pulls hard too...i figured he must have had something done under the hood.

@ehilden33 to tell you the truth i have never had it to a 1/4 mi track yet, was going to go to earlville iowa last year with a bunch of guys but it never happened. where did you run the 1/4 at? i also need some sticky mickey's and mabye some bogarts on front and then i should be able to pull the wheels if she plants :)
Thanks man...I'm not sure if I will ever end up doing a cam. The rockers have been great so far and in the 1/4 mile I am trapping better than some people are with a cam. I am pretty happy with where it is at, but I am curious what would happen if I threw a good size cam in it...could probably pull off a solid mid twelve second pass if I did put one in

I think the rockers helped quite a bit. I had ZZP install them and then tune the car so that probably helped a bunch too. I've been pretty happy with them because I have been trapping as good as the cammed guys at the track. Overall, it's been a pretty fun setup to have.
It cost me $450 in parts (modded rockers, springs, and retainers) and $300 for labor and dyno tuning. They ended up doing 4 pulls total but didn't charge me for the last pull.
