when i was my car i would rinse the soap or the car before i started the alloys because on a day with any sunlight at all it drys up the water on the car leaving water marks before you even get near it with the chamois
I dont know why but just watching a car been cleaned makes me wanna watch it over and over again... (and i should admit i clean my car every week, and i live in london were it rains everday lol)
I would have used polish, then a coat of collinite wax. It's fairly resistant to snowfoam as not all foam is PH neutral. Some foam and wheel cleaner strips the wax, the same happens when you clay a car. You need to polish or just wax at the end. It could look even better than it does now.
i use roughly the same technique with foam, rinse, wash, rinse although i do the wheels first with an APC, that way they get a "2nd hit" when youre foaming the car. good job though mate!
I was thinking about purchasing a pressure washer. Does the bottle used as soap for the snow foam come with the pressure washer or is that purchased separately? If the bottle does not come with it, where can I purchase it from?
@heheman14 You get a detergent bottle, not a foam lance that is required for snowfoam. The foam lance mixes air in to the mixture of foam and water at pressure, that's what causes the foam! You could modify your existing washer slightly by fitting a small tube with holes, it will drag air in - but you need to be in the mood for experimenting!
A proper foam lance for a Karcher will cost you £40-£50.
You haven't got a clue leave it to real car valeting guys who pays your water bills lol

when using a pressure washer one must be careful when cleaning the rims, so you dont blow off the rim's counterwheights
hellraiser313 1 year ago
@hellraiser313 you penis, thats the biggest load of balls ive ever heard
A. the counter weights are on the INSIDE of the rim so you cant get the stream of water in unliess you go tthe lance pokin in.
B. there clipped on tighter than a virgins privates so they ent comin off anyways!!!!

1. wash the wheels first.
2. Use the two bucket method even when doing a snow foam pre-wash.
3. Dry using a micro-fibre drying towel and pat dry not rub, less chance of swirls that way.

Great Video! If you don't mind me asking, why do you chamois the car? Will it not dry ok on its own? (or will there be white residue?)
