  • I cried so much. I cry right now, too! This is the best film I've ever seen.

  • best movie ever made !!!!

  • Best Western in 15 years.

  • i used to be like ben wade, then i took an arrow to the knee....

this is the best movie i'v saw btw

  • brill ending to a brill movie :-) an when he whistles for his horse haha XD

  • wade is fucking PUSSY.... Charlie was ready to give life for him!

  • Its an open end, but I still think he escaped, and started a new life, after he just killed his gang.

  • I thought Wade would say some heroic line, but I realised no line would be good enough

  • A very underestimated and underrated film. Flawless acting in addition to a great cast. Inspiring soundtrack and a stirring atmossphere! Thank you for uploading!

  • Should seriously had won at least one Oscar, in my opinion.

  • Best modern western since Unforgiven.

  • im starting to cry...

  • superbe films

  • rest in peace rancher

  • I saw the film on tv.Two days later i bought the DVD

  • i don't understand....i'm not english or american,I'm italian,sorry for my fail english

  • Not as good as the original - the remake never is...

  • what a stupid end -.-

  • @TheCiao96321

    you mean perfect ending.

  • In the ending I saw, Russel Crowe is sitting on the train and then he whistles and you see his horse running alongside the tarin - this obviously hinting that he intends on escaping. Anyone else seen that ending or is what I have just written bull?

  • @FreeTobin That's WRONG. He wanted his horse with him to the prison. He gave up on life.

  • @Remus88Romulus No, Ben Wade mentioned he escaped from the prison in Yuma twice before and he intends to do it again.

  • @Remus88Romulus He only got on the train for ben wade.

  • Crowes Character had absolutely no motivation to do what he did. There was not even a hint that he would do that for Bales Character. That ruined, what was otherwise, a good movie. Ben Foster is the only reason to watch this movie. That guy is so intense.

  • @PaytonWestlake

    lol wrong

  • @Bratcipheo An opinion cant be wrong. That was my opinion when I watched it in the cinema & still is my opinion. I'm not the only one either. I read several reviews of the film after I seen it and many of them referred to the eratic & uncharacteristic actions of Ben Wade. It wasnt believable for me. You obviously bought into it & thats fine. Each to his own.

  • @PaytonWestlake

You didn't state it as an opinion, you stated it as fact.

Funny is, how could i half way through the movie allready know that crowe was on that fathers side?Watch the movie again, they share some of the same beliefs, whereas the old man that catched him had done cruel stuff to indians(as crowe stated) to obviously show non existant line between good and evil.I sensed friendship between them from the first minute and i was right.

  • I love this part... at the beginning Ben Wade was willing to kill a member of his own group to protect himself and the group. Through the whole movie he kills people for selfish reasons. Then, for the first time in his life, he has a real friend in his life, someone he can connect with, and that trumps all greed. Dan shows that doing the right thing can be as beneficial as being selfish. He kills his whole gang (even though there's nothing to gain from it) because he lost that friendship.

  • Well, I don't look for heroes in this move. I try to understand the "code" that characters live by, as stated in the trailer. If you watch a lot kung fu and samurai movies along with westerns, you'll find that being heroic is not interesting as much as following the code that operates in the wilderness.

  • Compared to the original this is actually better

  • this was actually a remake?

  • i guess you all know that wade entered the train only to pay respect to dan, whistling to his horse meant that he would escape...great movie...

  • oh shit r u serious? that actually went over my head lol it's been an off day

  • I didnt think it was for respect, He entered the train. so the train company would pay of the dead guys debts and help his family back on there feet. As u can see the western train company guy looking at him enter the train at the end

  • how could he know if he was seen by the "western train company guy" when entering the train?

  • @IHateTerrorism nope... he got on the train so that the ranchers boy would know his father got him on the train like he said he would

  • @HustlerMitch ITs that and my idea.

  • His boy will never know that he isn't a hero afterall.

    Such a great film

  • Or, after this, he became a hero. I mean, he was the only 1 that had the guts to finish his work even when losing his own life. Thats a hero in my eyes.

  • Yeah thats true, you need some courage to do what he did.

  • He isnt a hero

    He's a Watchful Protector

    A Silent Guardian

    A Dark Knight

  • lllawl nice response xD

  • This is one of the greatest modern westerns. It is full of brilliant acting and a great storyline.

  • who knew or at least suspected that Christain was going to get killed?

  • this movie is so good!

the end realy makes the movie...

i've never liked westerns actually, but i realy like this one!

  • Poor boy

  • This is one of the coolest scenes in the movie--Ole Ben Wade probably junped on that horse ten minutes later and excaped from Yuma again!!!--Tombstone is my favorite Western but this movie is a close "Second"---A great Western!!!

  • dam american values his gang gave free bullets they were the most humble

and humblility sucks as a movie moral

  • One of the best Westerns ever... Up there with Unforgiven, and The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Even rivals Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. And possibly one of the best endings ever.

  • Agreed. Another very good western is "El mio nome e´nessuno". If u havent seen it, watch it! :)

  • This movie was brilliant. I love it. It is true that is is underrated. :(

  • This movie was so underrated! I guess people no longer like Westerns... Needless to say, this was one of the best movies I've ever watched!

  • most underrated movie of 2007.

  • My favourite film ever! So under rated.

  • the guys in the train are like ZZ top :D nice movie btw

  • Looool this is fucked up!!

i dont know what to do:D

shoud i watch it nooo i diddent see the move yet!! aarhrhhh

ah screw that iam to curious

  • its an awesome movie u should c it

  • lOVE THE SOOOO CLASSICALLY WESTEND AND UNDERSTATED ENDING!!

  • men, THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST WONDERFUL MOVIES I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE

  • What kind of pistols Charlie Prince has ?

  • Not sure but they seem like Colt

  • no S&W

  • Schofield Model 3.

  • 46lar is retarded its good he dead it shows respect wade had for dan pluse the basterd didnt listen to him pluse no country for old men ending sucked balls that was such bullshit a waste of my time he had no reason to live at the end he sould of died in that car crash. back to 310 if the boy would of shot wade that would ruin the movie sorry it would pluse no one tell me im wrong im in film school i know more then you so fuck off

  • you in got into film school with that shit english?

  • dramatic

  • The horse hearing the whistle is completely surrealistic. But I love it !

  • Charlie Prince shouldn't have died. He should have just rode into the sunset. Like Anton in No Country for Old Men.

  • No he deserved to die.

  • Dude was an asshole, it was good that Wade stylishly terminated him.

  • Though charlie was my favorite i loved how wade done the excicution and made his death better because if you realise he shot him first to wound him and the rest of the gang for him to realise that he should of followed orders
