Thanks for your reply! I guess I asked too soon - the one we have is a Hughes AH-6 Littler Bird Night Attack helicopter with pilot, night bision and door gunner - it works well with the 12" GI Joes, at 1/6 scale - it's absolutely huge. BUT, I can't find a price to compare it. You did a great job on the video - thanks for your reply!
its really hard to say to be honest with you it all depends on what condition it is in, do the blades sag, are all the parts to it any thing broken ive seen complete with the box go for like 200 the one i have with out the box i bought for 180, they are harder and harder to fine due to they stoped making them in 2001 i beleive
Hi Defender, sorry I didn't appreciate the scale of your models. The smallest ones i fly are about 16 inches long, so quite small but not as tiny as yours well done.
next thing is to make them fly! i fly RC helis and some of the guy have managed to converte the BB little bird Hughes to a flying model. Nice models you have there..now if they only fly!
actually crumpled these are very small models - about as long as a table fork... the ones tat fly that you see on you tube are larger scale, and are probably 3 feet long at the minimum. But they look good too!
thanks big time! I spent a good amt of time on each. Check out my other helicopter related videos!! And if u like model aircraft, the Huey is the way to go cuz it's inexpensive, abundant at any hobby shop, and can be modified so many ways.
Wow! You've only been at it for 3 years!? Maybe I'm not that educated on model building but those things are absolutely gorgeous, really nice work. You could send pictures to Fine Scale Modeler and I pretty much gurantee you they'd end up in the readers gallery. Any tips for a beginner?
Rikimaru - tips for a 'ginner: 1) get all the stuff u need: model, paint, fuselage AND canopy glue, sanding paper (high grit), and canopy tape (the easy-peel kind) and a bit of patience. Also keep this video handy for ideas and inspiration!
Those are absolutely amazing! I've tried scale modeling in the past with little or no success, due largely to my own impatience and frustration. I'm currently trying to get back into doing it because it's amazing to look upon works of art like yours. Just out of curiosity, how long have you been building?

the scale of these chops are 1:48th, which is too small to rig up in any way to actually fly.
