  • hi. I just wanna say that light or low fat foods aren't good for you. Because they have something called aspartame in them, which makes you crave sugar more.

  • @rosiijiimenezz It's a myth that eating small frequent meals affects the metabolism. Exercise is basically the only thing that significantly raises it.

  • When you stepped on the scale i freaked out cuz thats like a lb less than me and im almost 13. i mean im not fat but im very muscular and i have what i like to call soccer thighs which i do not like. and i also have a small gut which i think can be gross at sometimes and fine at other. but your videos really help and interest me so keep up the good work!!

  • A bagel, cream cheese, and a banana is NOT 300 cal. A banana is 100-150 cal. alone.

  • @beccahbear12 try making some frozen yogurt :) i tend to blend up some fruit and use a none fat yogurt and pop it in the freezer for a while take it out mix it up to get some air in to it and pop it back in the freezer its really delish and if you make it you know exactly what your putting in it i tend to put some honey in it to just to give it a little bit extra sweetness :) hope this has kind of helped xx

  • Plantain is a large green banana. It isn't sweet because it's not ripe yet. If you like those you should go to a Cuban, Puerto Rican or Dominican Restaurant and ask for something called tostones and if you like garlic ask for mojito with them ;) you eat them plain or with ketchup or mayoketchup!

  • so im a high schooler and its really hard for me to control what I get at my school cause they have sooo many yummy things I can get.   • Sometimes I'll add extra water to my oatmeal when I cook it, and cook it for about a minute longer, so that it will absorb more, and make the portions seem larger.

  • one of my weaknesses is late night snacking. I've heard that you shouldn't eat after 8'oclock because thats when your body starts to slow down.

  • One thing I am not sure you are aware of SparklicityNo6, you show a drink called: Fusio that contains Acai Berry. Acai Berry is hrm...I guess the word would be rumored or theorized to be something that enhances/ encourages weight loss. So not sure if you realized, but were doing extra for yourself, but drinking that particular juice. :)

  • @everythingbeauty841 the oatmeal might have higher calories, but it's nutrient-rich calories so 1. it's healthy and 2. you'll feel full longer.  Fruit loops are sugar-filled empty calories, so you will feel hungry a little while later, and eat MORE, so in the end, you'll be consuming more calories. CALORIES are not the enemy. EMPTY CALORIES are.

  • Love your videos! I'm going out to get the grapefruit juice. I am a huge fan of breakfast. I definitely agree with you on that one. I also recommend egg white as a great source of protein (e.g egg beaters). Omeletts are a great breakfast (or even as a meal with salad). Quick, easy and healthy. Not to mention filling. Great video again! You look amazing as always

  • Have you ever tried the Grapefruit Sunset juice and Green Plant juice from Trader Joes? They are my favorite, I swear by them!

  • @PurplemonkeyLegacy Don't be too discouraged. Try and get more active. Join a soccer team, or during the summer you can do Pop Warner Cheer leading (I did that as a kid). Dance classes will also help you shed pounds and you'll have a lot of fun! Just find something fun you'd enjoy doing and get out there! You'll start to feel better mentally AND physically. Give it some time though. Four to Six weeks.

  • I just switched from Kashi GoLean to Special K. Half the calories. I use almond milk. 60 calories for 1/2 cup of almond milk. I just prefer almond over soy is all.

  • @naomiellison special k is full of not so good ingredients. kashi is healthier overall even if it has a few more calories! I never touch any special k stuff anymore... it is nottt good for you. look into it! :)

  • @BellaFrice you can fill the portions your missing with things that are good for you like fruits or raw veggies, also eat slower, and stay hydrated!

  • @BellaFrice If you drink a glass of water before eating you will eat less... also maybe drink a glass of mint tea because it kind of tells your tummy its not as hungry as you really are. Also, eat a bowl of salad before. :) hope this hellps. :)

  • @BellaFrice you can also drink a glass of water 15~20 minutes before eating. You will feel fuller so you will naturally eat less.. This works for me. :3

  • Have you ever looked into juicing your own fruits and vegetables? Fresh grapefruit juice is off the chain! Fruits in there natural state are so delicious and nutritious. The benefits are awesome and it is living food. So good for your system and also keeps the weight off. Check out Dan McDonald the liferegenerators youtube channel for some sweet juicing recipes and philosophical tidbits. I also love Chris Kendall at The Raw Advantage and Freelee and Durianriders at 30 Bananas a day.

  • You should try greek yogurt! It's low in fat and has more protein than regular yoplait yogurt. My favorite is fage or chobani~ :)

  • You should do a eat this not that for restaurants and other events that people would encounter.

  • Also be careful with lowfat and light foods. You need fat in your diet...especially as a woman. Just choose the healthy types of fat. Also, all of those packaged lowfat and light foods make up for the fat with sodium and/or sugar. It's pretty bad. :\

  • Just make sure to watch your sodium intake. I started cutting slowly down on my sodium and I noticed a huge difference right away. With all that extra sodium I was retaining SO much water! Keep up the good work!

  • @blondchick4 snacks are really important i like to have some almonds or even some oatmeal cookies ( i make without raisins lol) think 5 small meals a day if possible..as long as your moving and eating healthy your metabolism should follow!

  • Those are great snack ideas! I think having a protein bar really helps settle my cravings rather than having milk chocolate. The protein bar keeps me fuller longer and I don't have that crash from the sugar high. I sometimes will eat 1 ounce of Dark Chocolate. I think it is very satisfying and it is good for you. I buy the ones with 60 to 85% cocoa.

  • I don't eat junk food.I don't like chips or any type of candy.I stopped drinking sodas a year ago and i don't miss them at all, especially since i don't like fizzy drinks.I love eating cereal in the morning and evening and i exercize and everything and i'm still chubby.I don't wanna say i'm fat coz i'm not.I just have a bit bigger stomach and a tiny bit of fat here and there.But i have 100 pounds.Oh well, i'll start running and doing exercises after i come back from my vacation :D

  • @jlouv685 it takes 10 months to transform and create an amazing little person so give yourself a ton of credit and a ton of time to get back!! I had some loose skin when my son was born..my dr said skin is living, so its always changing and shrinking and not to give up! she was totally right!! take time to heal from your c section if you rush it you can hurt yourself and end up never healing right! YOU ARE AMAZING! give yourself time..and love..and vitamin E.. HUGS!!!

  • Great vid!! I recently gave up Pepsi (which I looove) and i'm trying to incorporate other drinks when I start to crave it. How many grams of sugar is a reasonable amount?

  • @ninalgz when it comes to drinks its important to remember your drinking to hydrate your self and replenish nutrients so if you had koolaid with 100 cals or a glass of V8 with a 100 cals the V8 is obviously going to do more and the calories are going to be used differently..sugar can be tricky..orange juice and fruit juice have about 23 grams..where crystal light has 5 or green tea has 15..you just have to think about your needs the little juice mix packets are great too and about 5 g of sugar

  • I was the same way when it came to breakfast! Recently started eating the Kashi 'Go lean crunch' or 'Special K with Berries' or a protein shake (shakeology). Thanks for your video!

  • @dancer4life911 the info i found said a banana was 60 cals and the cream cheese was 30 cals for non fat cream cheese..thanks for the info I think the size of the banana counts maybe..i think even if your breakfast was 520 cals..those are calories of fruits and carbs that your body needs for energy, in one meal, especially breakfast 520 cals is perfectly fine considering with moderate exercise your body needs 2000 cals daily to run efficiently.
