Man! I attended the AUF (Araneta University F 1973 - 1978 and left for USA) and I see this site everyday on my way to school-- and from 1963 - 1969, having attended CAES. Still standing--in 1945 American soldiers guarded this monument with diligence making sure it wasn't torn down. Around the corner is a place called Blue Spot (where tough people Big 4s hanged out). The Lapiang Malayas were killed near there--Thanks for posting--and incidentally, we called it "Ot Ne Monum!"
in night time one of the most dangerous place in caloocan city, snatchers holduppers, pimps, bastard policemen, name it, caloocan city have it..

Ang Lugar na Ito ay sa Monumento Caloocan. Lugar kung saan matatagpuan ang Kaunlaran at Kahirapan.
