@inmendham G'day... Yes, what a Gothic Grandesque effect that there filter do do... Could you hold your head in that frame for a whole Vid, though ; with your Eyes drilling out of the screen, like in the Uncle Sam Needs Youuuu ! Posters, in days of yore ? Segue... Surrealist joke, off Radio National. What d' y' call Cheese that doesn't belong to you ? It's NAAACHO CHEEEESE !!!
You like the filter...A-HAAAAA!!! A reason to live! ;) It is a cool filter. And the video content was cool. Don't be so sullen. Okay, I guess that doesn't help, but it must be considered that your message will scare some people, whether they agree with you or not; and it will sadden some people, whether they agree with you or not, but Vloggerdome is still young, and it has time to grow, yes?
I tried to convince my cousin not to have a baby several times. I brought up all the pointlessness, suffering, depression and boredom. All the diseases and health problems that can occur. After a few of these talks, I finally got her to admit that she is a selfish bitch. But it always ends with her saying "Life is what you make of it and I hope my child isn't like you Jamie." I say "For their sake, I hope not too." Some people just don't change. I wasted a lot of time trying to get her to. :(
@Yamikaiba123 I told her to adopt several times. She always said "EW! I want my own. I want it to be me and Eric's (her husband)." She's just a stupid selfish bitch. What really sucks is she's my only friend. LOL
@JamieA3OZ You know, a comment that I found fun somewhere (don't remember, nor who made it) said that ultimately, antinatalists are serving against their interest, since at best, if they convert all the intelligent people, that pretty much cuts off the smart genes and leaves humanity's legacy up to people who would never question birth. (Kind of like the movie Idiocracy).
@JamieA3OZ I don't know how to resolve that paradox though- it would seem very perverse and backward to become an octo-dad under the flag of antinatalism XD.
@JamieA3OZ She needs to understand that hoping her child turns out a certain way does absolutely nothing to make it so. And that she is gambling with other consciousnesses for her own satisfaction. It is like an involuntary russian roulette where the loser goes to hell. Maybe that description would have meaning to her but I doubt it.
Well, there is also the volume of videos you put out. I like long videos, but after having watched 1000 of them, I had to take a break.
Also, I'm not on the antinatalist wagon (as of yet; I have problems with its premises- not its arguments which you've put across well enough) so there's only so much I can hear about my life intrinsically sucking ^_^. But either way, I think as long as there's an orphan available for adoption, it's immoral to conceive, so you don't have to worry about me.
@Yamikaiba123 Of course, if I enter the life debate, then for posterity's sake, you would have to worry about me. But I really don't want to do so- I have so much going on regularly at this time in my life, and I admit formulating a case for life and keeping up a debate with antinatalism is more than I have the nerve to get into. Whether I were right ro wrong, I'd get destroyed.
I plan on reading antinatalist literature in the future though, to be or not to be is THE question after all.
@Yamikaiba123 Oh yeah, I guess I should give you the credit in letting you know that it's pretty much you and Fred that influenced my decision to not have my own kids. It's something I've been on the fence about as a kid and my teens without thinking about it seriously. Unless you do think about it seriously and make an informed decision, it's just some abstract thing that grown-ups do like marriage and buying a house.
@Yamikaiba123 So yeah; I don't want to bear the guilt for bringing a kid into the world that turns out to have a sucky life- on the other hand, I'd rather bear joy in having perhaps raised a child that was already here to begin with to be happy.
(For some reason I thought this comment had a typo so I removed it to correct it. Oh well, sorry for the double posts. I really should proof-read before I do so.

@JamieA3OZ Adoption wasn't an option for her? I don't see much difference in the parenting experience there, beside the 'oh he has my nose!'

@JamieA3OZ She's admitted she's in the wrong. You won the debate. You couldn't have done anything more.
''I wasted a lot of time trying to get her to''
She deserves her guilt. You managed to get her to acknowledge her failings. Not a complete waste of time.

@Yamikaiba123 In your terms, I think that would make me a player, but not one who's inviting new participants.
