In the lead up to the fight Green went on about how Briggs would be fit, despite being long retired, because he was a gym owner.

If you're going to criticise Mundine how about saving it for something remotely connected to him. Danny Green's frustration is understandable if he really had no idea how poor Briggs condition was but anyone who watched Briggs during his prime knows he always fought hard and was prepared to fight anyone, anywhere, any time. He just had nothing left physically.

I believe their deal was both get a title and make an Aussie supper fight. When Briggs lost all his money he went hat in hand looking for a pay-day, then POW the show, then that disgrace! Have a look at mundine training, Hussein is always there.
