No offence to Bob, but NO-ONE could be funnier than Spike in an interview situation, he was too lightening fast, took audiences on flights of fancy and was so inventive, I don't think any of our comedians today have topped him for surrealism... Also, I wonder what Spike's opinion of Bob really was, him being a mainstream, Conservative, middle class boy, while he was a working class, socialist, animal rights activist and ad-libber!

Two comedy greats together, one who was knighted and one who should have been!

when Spike died a comedy family tree was done by a newspaper (I think it was the Sun) and all of the branches lead back to Spike Milligan. The very next lot beneath Spike Milligan are/were Monty Python, but Spike Milligan was the one at the very top of the tree!
