Why don't you just stop comparing two players that don't play in the same league and don't play the same minutes? Ricky averages 6.8p, 4.2as and 2.9reb in 20MIN. When he played the semifinals, he played 32min and he got 10p and 8as. 8 assists is A LOT in FIBA, that would be like 15 in the NBA. You can't talk about how will he do in the NBA or if he's better than Curry, we won't know that until he goes to the NBA. But for now, he's the best PG in Spain and one of the best in Europe. And he's 19!

I don't get what's all the fuzz about Rubio. People say that Rubio is a point guard and that he makes he's team better, but if you look up his stats in the Euro leauge and the FIBA championship he assist averages are lower than 5 a game. And that's in the amateurs. Sure, he can make amazing passes once in a while, but any point guard in the NBA can do that. Compare to Curry stats, who plays in the NBA (big man's league), Curry's assist average about 6 a game. Curry 2nd best rookie if not best.

Rubio makes his debut in 2011 season opener if I'm correct, he was only supposed to play in Europe for 2 years then play in the NBA. From what I seen Rubio is one of the greatest, he even caught Kobe's attention, and he was the go too man at the age of 17 when Spain went against USA. Curry is great but Tyreke Evans & Bradon Jennings did more for their teams. Michael Wilbon doesn't know what he's talking about

Im guessing everything curry did this year meant nothing?,,, Curry is a special player ive been watching him play since his freshmen year in college. Curry is a great passer so idk what guys are talking about. oh yeah and wait hes only played the position for 2 years. Curry is going to be a superstar one day if he can stay healthy. And if you ask Coach K he says hes a pretty good on ball defense. Also he is a great shooter which we all know. So I think Rubio will be a good not curry good tho.

Why don't you just stop comparing two players that don't play in the same league and don't play the same minutes? Ricky averages 6.8p, 4.2as and 2.9reb in 20MIN. When he played the semifinals, he played 32min and he got 10p and 8as. 8 assists is A LOT in FIBA, that would be like 15 in the NBA. You can't talk about how will he do in the NBA or if he's better than Curry, we won't know that until he goes to the NBA. But for now, he's the best PG in Spain and one of the best in Europe. And he's 19!

I don't get what's all the fuzz about Rubio. People say that Rubio is a point guard and that he makes he's team better, but if you look up his stats in the Euro leauge and the FIBA championship he assist averages are lower than 5 a game. And that's in the amateurs. Sure, he can make amazing passes once in a while, but any point guard in the NBA can do that. Compare to Curry stats, who plays in the NBA (big man's league), Curry's assist average about 6 a game. Curry 2nd best rookie if not best.

@jordanbasket24 Did you watch even a second of a warriors game this year? Steph Curry is a playmaking, sharpshooting POINT GUARD. He can handle the ball and dish it with the best of them. He has the potential to be a Nash type player or even better. Rubio can dish it too and has handles but his lack of a jump shot puts curry ahead of him. Their shooting/scoring abilities are not even comparable. In my mind Curry is the better of the two.
