my husband is from aux cayes, haiti. im trying to convince him to move back (take over the house he will inherit anyway). he keeps making excuses for not wanting to go back. his main excuse is this: haitians automatically think all people who've been to america are/should be rich. and they will be envious and try to work hoodoo on us.
I would like to go to Haiti one day to help my own country just these tourist helping us. I think we need to start helping ourselves too.
