Beautiful job on this mini! I went and found the tutorial. I think I will try what you did and try to use all the pages by binding rather than just gluing down the backs. Thanks for sharing your talent. :)
oh my Goodness I love your album looks beautiful I love it !! love the paper and great idea on the tags, and how sweet of your son to be thoughtful and think you and crafting when he bought those tags for you it is magnificent
what a magnificent mini!!! you did awesome work in it. I have been so busy making paper bag minis that I had almost forgotten about file folder minis! (I have two started even! I really like your idea of hinging the pages together, I am going to have to watch the video again to pay careful attention to that. TFS!
I work for Susan Winget and she is having a Christmas Craft challenge and you should totally enter! You are so talented and your work is amazing!! check it out on her facebook page!!
I am trying to duplicate the format of your album . . . my first one. It's certainly not as easy as it looks in the videos. If I could cut anything straight that would help. LOL Your outer edges and edges between the sections look so nice and finished. How did you achieve this? Mine just look unfinished and you can see the folder inbetween. If you could help me out with this, I would love it. Thanks so much.
@msjenjenp Hi Msjenjenp, thanks so much for your beautiful comments! As far as the edges, I inked the entire book with Tim Holtz distress ink (aged mahogany and pine needles). I also used clear and wide book binding tape on the folds which made the book more sturdy...this was one of my favorite books to make and I really did enjoy creating it! Hope this helps and thanks again!
This is my favorite file folder Christmas album I have seen all year!!!! You are VERY talented and possess a great knowledge of color and of crating an elegant , yet fun album. Thanks for sharing! How long have you been doing this?
I love the tradional style of your album, very beautiful. I also have a lot of these papers, but did not have time to use them. Your album will be my inspiration. TFS, Evelyn
