Truly she is the most beautiul, elegant and graceful singer. She is authentic, original, melodius and very talented. She is a feast for the eyes and ears.I have watched this Ghazal enumerous times and I never get tired of her.
I had the chance to meet her in Lahore in my teens days and always admired her passion for the music and love for the country. Very elegant lady with great voice and skills to match any top classic singers in Asia.
If I would have been Ahmed Faraz , I can assure you this much, that after this show, I would've taken her no meter what, and I am sure Ahmed faraz did too.
@bhoolabisra U would have to be their fellow countryman,to make such an obnoxious comment!Any other person would respect these artists who bring respect to ur country!God knows u have little else to offer!Shame on u !
I love her husky voice. I think her mother was excellent, but they are both very different form the run-of-the-mill voices and styles popular in the sub-continent.
We used to call her "lambi gardan", cos we didn't know who she was in early PTV appearances, and the nickname stuck in the family.
Just look at her "gardan"...I think we were right!

Its very sad that just because of her mother she became a singer. There are people singing on Pakistani street a million times better than her. Even her mother knew that she cannot sing.
