Working in the financial field at that time, we were anticipating that the U.S. was longing for a war in order to fuel the (military) engineering sector, which had no turnover since the early 90ies. It's not the first time in history that the U.S. has taken this strategy for the legitimation of war.

F-18s are American, but the canadians use them now. The americans use the f-18 superhornet. The other plane was a French dassault 2000.

To many over the pond, it's obvious that by blowing up the World Trade Center, or letting it blow up in clear preconsience, the U.S. government of that time was longing for a pretext of getting rid of its old military arsenal, spurring investments, helping the economy etc. Be love and peace with you, brother.

It's to the point where more soldiers actually die on leave than on active duty. The media only reports bad things(the occasional death of US soldier) that happen in Iraq and Afghanistan and leaves out all the good the United States does.
