windows dreamscene was sorta a bad idea. i heard on a count of 65% of people coudnt stand the lag of there computer couase of it.

microsoft reccomended a dual core prossesor but accualy it required a triple core or better. (to run ur computer smoothly like normal)

@johngettershow Thats completely incorrect. I use it on my dual core centrino duo 1.60 ghz. It doesn't slow down your performance. If your running any gadgets on your desktop they consume 2x as much processing power as dreamscene. I watch Southpark episiodes on a 49" tv streaming from the internet with it running and it doesn't slow down the rendering of the video.

Its not Dreamscene its people. People saying you need to have a super PC to run a simple program is anoying. saying the program is crap because of it is worse. With Pentium D(dual core) I can run full HD dreamscene with no slowdown at all. Also can play any game out there at the moment with no problem(£4000 PC needed to play games is another untrue comment people like to put out there) You just need some basic PC understanding to build a cheap system that can run everything

if you have the hardware to run vista it`s a beautiful os using vista for about 2 years now a real pain on my first system but once i upgraded added more ram and better cpu it routinely beats xp in benchmarks same system dual booting it`s easy to argue what is better and what is worse but if you can`t afford a really good system get xp if you have a top of the line pc get vista if your computer can run vista you will not be sorry
