Sometimes when you don't speak the language of the host, it's more interesting to speculate on what's really going on...Jackie thinks she's on a variety show, but the man in the dark gray suit is really an auctioneer, and the group sitting on the bench are bidding on her. First only the man in glasses bids, because Jackie knows nothing of Japanese cooking. Interest picks way up when she sings, andy everyone bids. Finally Jacob saves the day by explaining that Jackie will not pull a cart...

Friction over perceived or real favoritism at home by siblings is bound to occur. Jackie has said it occurs at her home, that she worries over it, but the family is mindful of it. Luckily, little sister Rachel seems to only desire fashionable hats and is very rarely seen without one on; plus Rachel's now at the age Jackie discovered she could sing. Neille and Sara Kouns, and Vanessa and Caroline Sadlier are sister sopranos, and sing together.

Jackie is so, so cute talking about the steak of all things! Then she begins to sing and she really gives it her all and we can all see how mature her expressions are becoming. Then straight back to being cute and receiving a doll! It really is quite incomprehensible, no wonder everyone is so shocked.

And her appeal crosses all age ranges and income classes, not to mention she rules Christian music these days. And wouldn't you like to know what she really thinks of Piers Morgan?

It appears they ask Jackie what she liked about Japan and she gave an answer about liking the steak that was put on a thing and the steak cooks. That is an 11 year old giving an honest answer. Very endearing. Then she sing's OMBC like a seasoned pro three times her age. I never tire of how she can "turn it on" when she sings. Also love Jackie's genuine excitement about her gift.Notice that she looks back at her interpreter for approval to "open" her gift. So very respectful. Good parenting!

i watched a clip of david foster and jackie in japan. he mentioned to the audience that jackie would be there to perform in janruary 2012 without him. i realy hope that somehow we here in america can see her concert. But I am puzzled as to why Japan is not listed on her website mentioning the japan tour. Can someone fill me in?

I love how she says she doesn't know exactly where her voice comes from .. that God stands up and sings with her!! So grateful and unassuming. Lisa and Michael (?) sure are doing a great job in raising this child. Jacob seems genuinely happy for her sister and is obviously going to be a heartbreak himself! It's great that America is represented by Jackie and this family.

I absolutely love her rendition of OMBC in this video. Her facial expressions and hand movements make this on of the most memorable renditions that she has done. Truly beautiful and endearingly touching to see. Her transition from a tiny11 year old shy child to an incredibly gifted performer in a matter of seconds is breathtaking and unbelievably stunning !! This is an artist at her very best...and she's only 11 years old !!
