Alot of people don't remember that she also played Annie Barnes on ONE LIFE TO LIVE for a short time....she was part of the storyline involving the house that was being monitored by Ivan Kipling. I think she played the girlfriend of Larry Wolek's son. Thanks for this great tribute and it's wonderful to hear Karen Carpenter's voice always....

Hard to believe it's officially been 20 years now since her death. Today marks the very day that she was tragically taken from us. I can still remember that morning of July 18, 1989 when her death was reported on the news all around the nation. God, that makes me feel old, even though some people tell me I don't look a day over 25.....

I still remember and think about Rebecca to this very day 5-2-09. It still saddens me that her life ended so young and so tragic.

I remember hearing about her death on the morning news as if it were yesterday! So incredibly sad! Beautifully, young, talented girl. I cannot believe that Robert Bardo was able to get her address the way he did! Unbelievable!! Watching him in court during his trial (on CourtTV), that is all one needed to see, to know how deeply--very deeply disturbed he was/is! RIP REBECCA..........
