The Original "BEFORE I LET GO" was released off the "Maze: Live in New Orleans" double LP in 1981. This was the 1st and official release and it was never included on a regular studio album. Probably a sales incentive to buy the LP. Same thing with Marvin Gayes "GIVE IT UP" was initially released on the "live @ the London Palladium" LP in '79.
