there are the only two reasons why she was underrated...one just because she's Asian(very clear) . two, she's lirico which extra-ordinarily many sopranos competing with, so need much more out-music ability, unlike Sumi Jo, who has very solid, and very rare coloatura technique in the world ..

Beautiful, artistic, accurate and in authentic French. I can't fault her version in anyway. Immensely charming. You can't follow her singing with the music, she is THAT precise, yet very organic at the same time. I have seen Hei-Kyung Hong live and it an experience. Hats off!

Most of the time I am very deceived when a french song is performed by a soprano from an other mother tongue than french. What a surprise I got, I heard all the words .... this lady has a very precised knowledge ot the accent and the prononciation of the Molière language.
