  • Yes, it does work! I got mine from QVC and it arrived last night. I could not believe the ease and how quick you can make pasta (the old way was boiling water on the stove, then drop the pasta in for like ten to twelve minutes all the while stirring the pasta). Mine came with a nice instruction and recipe booklet. I can definitely see me making pasta more often now.

  • That's spaghetti bro

  • i guess if you're living without a stove; dorm, apartment, or elsewhere this is nice, but i mean i still prefer my stove.

  • you know wat men? you think you are a nice cooking chef, and the only thing you do is firie and bake fucking bacon, and these easy greasy food that you like so much!!!!!

im from spain, and you are n0t a nice cook or creator in any kind by farrr dude, you just tryng to live your dream, selling this sauces that you shipped iike juice since you are a little kid. fat whale.

COOKIING IS VERY FAR FROM WAT YOU DOIING

cooking is not wat you do!!!!!!

  • @1ilsignorino That's not really a nice accusation :P.

  • @1ilsignorino shut your rude mouth. seriously, we're sorry your country is so dirty and miserable, please find somewhere else to blow off steam.

  • I eat exacly as you do :)

  • anyone who has to use this to make pasta is a retard

  • How is that fasta? Boil a pot of water and dump the pasta in. It takes 12 minutes to cook. Unless they mean 'fasta' by skipping the waiting for boiling water. What a stupid product. But love the show. Do more product reviews, I love watching your reactions--especially when they fail!

  • Not meaning to be a jerk but that's not macaroni, it looks like spaghetti or angle hair. Macaroni is a hollow tube pasta that has an arched bend in it, just like the pasta in the mac'n'cheese boxes. Spaghetti is a long cylindrical pasta thats about 3mm thick, and a foot long or traditionally about a foot and a half(20in), angle hair is the same only thinner, about 1-2mm thick.

  • @ov3rcl0cked It seems Jack calls any shape pf pasta, macaroni. My dad does the same thing and it drives me nuts! It's like calling every car on the road a Ford. When in doubt...just call it pasta, that works for every shape or form.

  • isn't the pasta boat basically the same thing

  • I just wanted to say, great video. Your personality makes this show.

  • I like these product review stuff. I totally trust you. I'm blinded by the smoke and mirrors and glamour in those commercials and stuff :)

  • just buy a ziplock lunch box make two holes on the lid and you have a homemade fasta pasta

  • The sauce looks plain:/

  • Stupid product... pasta is already so simple to cook and they come up with this bullshit? I don't care what lines or holes come with this product, you can have the same effect microwaving it in a container and I eyeballing the water.

  • DO NOT USE PLASTIC with water. Water gets the chemical stuff thats in plastic and mix it in your food or water(bottled water must be in 2 weeks if older than 2 weeks dont drink!) be cautious it cause cancer in young age. thumps up for fighting CANCER

  • pasta should NOT be cooked in the microwave! -_-

  • Got enough sauce there :)?

  • Spin the Sauce bottle around so we can see the label. BTW....you friggin crack me up!!

  • does it hot when you touch the fasta pasta

  • .... Macaroni?

  • Does this make the pasta starchy. Every product like this I have tried so far (I eat a lot of pasta so have tried a few) does not move the pasta and the pasta gets a starchy coating which makes it sticky. Does this get that?

  • @cartilige I had no sticking.

  • Hi,

    i just discovered this....

pretty nice but i think hobby chefs just put a pot of salted water and cook some pasta

    in it.. ;-)

when it comes to pasta it's A LOT of salted water and then let the pasta 'float' in it.

    Joe from Germany

  • I have had this product for a few years (received it from my mom as a gift) and I love it. Yes, I could boil water on the stove but why? This is much easier and quicker.

  • Listen to an authentic Italian born-and-raised here: just boil some bloody water, put some bloody salt, put the pasta in, wait for bloody cooking time to be over, strain the bloody water. DONE. And you have saved yourself some money too!

  • @TheVideoCat FYI: Jack is Italian. Anyways, as oreobaby73 said, "if you're in college and you only have a microwave it's a life saver."

  • It seems like this is only for measuring and straining, other than that it's just tupperware.

  • if you put spaghetti and water in tupperware and put it in the microwave it works the same way...

  • hey jack, i love your product reviews, and i've also seen some of your cooking ones, and my god it helped me alot. I apprieciate your help, videos, and was wondering about the bbq sauces, can they make it into canada?

  • @SinOfYesterd unfortunately all my canadian orders arrived broken and I ship plastic jars. Go figure. So we decided no more international shipping. I am so sorry.

  • @jakatak69 Damn, apparently its too good for us xD

  • Its not macaroni it's spaghetti, and the sauce isn't called spaghetti it's called bolognaise.

Macaroni is a different type of pasta.

Sorry for correcting you, I like your videos

Thanks for the cooking tips :)

  • @AnonymousChronicler spaghetti sauce & bolognaise sauce can be used ether term its just where you are from. In North America the term spaghetti sauce more widely used.

  • @AnonymousChronicler

If your going to correct someone, then get your facts straight.

Bolognses is a stewed meat sauce with wine that is simmered for hours.

  • @slair198 I think you got me wrong, I wasn't correcting to troll, you read a bit aggressive to wards me. I yes I see your right, I didn't know that bolognaise required meat as one of its features, defining it.

But apparently in "spaghetti sauce & bolognaise sauce can be used ether term its just where you are from. In North America the term spaghetti sauce more widely used." (Quote 98770)

Meaning that terms in different areas can be differ, for the sauce and the pasta.

    Thanks for correcting me.

  • i have a fasta pasta and it is one of the best things that i got for college!!!!!

  • @asianschoolgurl because your container doesn't have the water fill lines on the side or the measuring circles for pasta. If you want to make your own you could but why when it's $20 and lasts forever.

  • you should try the pasta boat it works waaayyyyyy better and only takes 9 minutes

we use it all the time

  • So how does one measure non-spaghetti pasta, like orzo or rotini?

  • @Vebinz there is a book that tells you how many cups of non spaghetti pasta.

  • okay thats definately spaghetti noodles....not macaroni :/

  • Hey Jack will you be coming with "The best pasta sauce you'll ever taste"? ^^

  • @wr3stlegirl that will be my next product. I just don't know when, yet.

  • how much are your sauce i like to take 4 plzz reply thanks

  • @smartygurl10 $27.96 for 4 jars. We do free shipping to anywhere in the USA.

    go to TheBestSauces (dot) com

    to order.

  • its spagetti not macaroni macaroni is the elbows

  • imagine how we would live our lives without the letter "e"

    the best sauces

    th bst saucs

please mark this as spam if needed

  • haha doesnt it take like a bit more than 12 min to boil pata anyway?

  • i know this is an old video but the way i grew up my household ate noodles called angel hair. you should try them. they're not thick they're really thin but it tastes better to me

  • Hi Jack, I'm a stickler for my pasta, I like a little bite to it. There is nothing I hate more then mushy pasta. How is the tenderness? Thanks PinkSander

  • @PinkSander It's perfect. Mine was al dente

  • @jakatak69 Thanks Jack! Also I was wondering if you review products other than cooking products.

  • about how you eat pasta... thats how i do it.... some people says its impolite to do that, but i dont know how to eat it any other way... do you? i guess some people swirl it on a spoon idk

  • i goten pasta n more at a thrft store for 3 bucks it was band new the box was nver open

  • Bought one of these. LOVE IT! I use it to cook every kind of pasta and boiled rice! :-D

  • Can your reply to my comment?

  • @nintendonerdgoodbad2 dude. I always reply. What up?

  • @jakatak69 lo i was just checkin...anyway can i send you a couple of items?

  • Hey jack, sorry if you've answered this, but do you use hot or cold water to begin with?

  • @elizaFREAK just tap water. Not hot or cold. Just room temp.

  • i use one of these things for meals at my university and it works great. eating pasta from the supermarket is much cheaper than eating at one of the campus restaurants

  • what if i don't like spaghetti, angle hair, or fettucine noodles???????how do u measure out a serving of elbows or ziti or penne????

  • @damoro375 it tells you for other pastas. You just use a measuring cup. It still works great. I have used it on all pastas.

  • Gah, I don't like the microwave... But I use it anyway for convenience. GO LAZINESS!

  • You are fucking adorable.

  • That isn't Macaroni. It is Spaghetti.

  • YO THATS A FKN TUPPERWARE WITH HOLES !!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

  • u should think of making the best spagehti sauce youll ever taste

  • u look like my friend todd, he's a bouncer at a bar in stratford connecticut :-)

  • @mj122789 tell todd I said hi.

  • Cool vid. It would have been nice to see the noodles up closer after nuking them, but overall looks great. Thats cool that you make your own sauces as well! I'm a huge fan of LOTS of sauce lol, I love the tomatoes!!

  • theres something just like this called "pasta boat" they look identical. no joke. and btw u use a lot of sauce no offence

  • Eating double portions of pasta and all that salty sauce us a recipe for obesity and heart attack. I lost 60+ pounds by eliminating starchy carbs.

  • @szqsk8 obviously he didn't eat the whole thing.

  • al dente?

  • @Biotoasts yes. it cooks it al dente!

  • @jakatak69 AUG I WANT ONE THEN

  • Dayum that's a lot of sauce. Eating that much sodium daily is like a recipe for heart attack.

  • dnt u put meat in ur pasta?

  • @PriincessSBby I always do. I didn't for this video for simplicity.

  • different powers of microwaves would mess with the pasta too, woudln't it?

  • @lvcsslacker yes. On your first try be sure to adjust timing on the instructions if you have a way more powerful microwave that nukes in seconds. LOL

  • wow, the video suddenly has a better quality, the last time i watched it like a month ago it was all blurry and the sound quality wasnt that good either wtf happened

  • In my opinion, this product is not that effective, the pasta i do i boil in a pan for about 8 mins and it is so delicious.

This product is a bit of a rip off. :(

  • @rockeeben you just said you cook your pasta for ABOUT 8 minutes. In the fasta pasta it's exact in time and texture. that's the beauty of it. 12 minutes and it's pefect time and time again. Boiling time differs and so does the amounts you put in. This just makes it easy for those who don't want to slave over the water sampling pasta ever 2 minutes.

  • @rockeeben It depends on your situation. At home I still use a pot to make pasta but at school there is no stove. This product is the perfect solution.

  • @rockeeben It depends on your situation. At home I still use a pot to make pasta but at school there is no stove. This product is the perfect solution.

  • @rockeeben It depends on your situation. At home I still use a pot to make pasta but at school there is no stove. This thing is the perfect solution for me.

  • @rockeeben It depends on your situation. At home I still use a pot to make pasta but at school there is no stove. Without something like this I would not be able to make pasta at school.

  • thats spaghetti, not maccaroni

    ....

  • LOL hey jack I love your sauce and you know what? Even the catfish I been catching with it love it too! I use a dough recipe to shape the balls then dip them in your BBQ sauce.

  • you have like... murder investigation music playing at the background. shits weird

  • y do u call it macaroni, thats spagetti noodles

  • @shittyclothing56 it's because at the time I uploaded the other videos, youtube crunched them and didn't put out as good a product. Youtube shows a higher quality today then back then. I can't update the videos or I will lose my viewer count.

    I am sorry.

  • saves like 5 mins...

  • While the product may seem silly, you know, it's just a plastic water container, the way I see it, it gets the job done. And it's done right.

  • its just boiling pasta in a plastic container

  • hey do u ever have any trouble eating food with alot of sauce becus of ur ah.....gotee??

  • no. I use a napkin.

  • I reserve some of the pasta water. In case pasta dries out some.

  • Looks ok but 12 min ... you could boil water by that time and cook your pasta... it might take 5-15 more min ... but it might make better pasta. Who knows. I am only half italian after all haha.

  • I really wish I had this when I lived in a dorm room - I would've had pasta every night instead of hot pockets!

  • i heard about why the tater mitts didn't work. you are supposed to boil the potatos first so that they're soft. whats up with that?

  • this makes perfect pasta though, and you dont have to boil the water first, plus you only have one thing to wash afterwards instead of strainer, etc.

  • this product sucks if u live @ home cuz u can just boil the spaghetti it but if ur in college and u only hav a microwave its a life saver

  • I can do it faster in a pan on the stove if I boil water in my water-boiler first. Good spaghetti (that was NOT maccaroni!) only takes 8-10 minutes to cook.

  • Macaroni means a pasta that has no egg in it so he is technically he correct

  • I bought a 2-quart GladWare microwave-safe plastic container for a buck at Big Lots, and use it to cook spaghetti/pasta in the microwave. I punched a few holes in the lid to strain the water. The GladWare works probably just as well as the Fasta Pasta. But I would buy a Fasta Pasta if I could find it anywhere.

  • The fasta pasta comes with exact water measurements for it's container and exact time. You know when the time is up your pasta is perfect every time.

How do you know it's done in the Gladware? You have to check it again and again. Try ordering from their website.

  • Hey Jack, I can understand what you're saying, but maybe the water level isn't all that critical. I put enough in so that a 1/2 inch of water is covering the pasta. Timing is trial and error for the first time or two, but it works out to 11 - 13 minutes a serving. I do have to break the spaghetti in half so it will fit in the GladWare tub. And hey, I would still buy a Fasta Pasta if it was in a store near me. I'm going to call them and see what's up. I just don't like buying through mail order.

  • your right. Mail order does suck. LOL

  • There was "too much" water left in it when the spaghetti was cooked, so I don't think the exact amount of water is critical, just that you have enough for the spaghetti to absorb.

  • I think that would only come in handy if the stove top was already being used, like a big family dinner maybe. I would rather boil the pasta on the stove top in any other situation, much cheaper XD

  • it takes 10 mins to make pasta anyways

  • @omfiguh114 lol

  • @omfiguh114 yea but this is for idiots

  • @omfiguh114 But it takes about 5 minutes for the water to boil first. And here you are not using oil and you're saving energy. It's seems pretty smart for me.

  • @omfiguh114 its nice when you live in a dorm though... George forman grills make great grilled shrimp and chicken then you add some fettucini alfredo and eat a great meal for really cheap that way

  • @omfiguh114 less than 10 if you take away the water boiling time

  • Seems to me only one person in the family needs to buy one and record the water and pasta measures and you can use any microwave safe container to cook the pasta in

  • Actually I think its how they have that "reservoir" in the bottom, ive tried microwaving noodles etc in other containers and they tend to stick together, not cook properly, and then the water will boil and overflow in the microwave, although the "reservoir" at the bottom is supposed to promote heat distribution so it convection waves agitate the pasta, and separate them so they dont stick etc

  • Of course it'll taste good! The sauce must be good!

  • You eat like I eat.

    I love it!

I also like how you call the spaghetti macaroni.

It reminds me of my friend who refers to bell peppers as mangoes.

    XD

  • LOL. I know. I can't stop the macaroni comment. I should put a feather in my hat.

  • i want a fasta pasta

  • want some pasta for your sauce?

    love your videos

  • YEAH BABY!!! (austin powers voice)

  • do you cook for a living?

  • That is spaghetti, not macaroni.

  • He uses the word "macaroni" like we use the word "pasta". I guess it's just how he grew up.

  • Sorry. My mom raised us that way. You know how those Italian 5ft 1in. mom's are. She would always say, "Eat your damn macaroni or I'll break both your legs". It didn't matter what pasta she cooked.

Macaroni is any tubular hollow pasta like Rigattoni, Penne, mostaccioli, etc.

  • lol you remind me of that puppet master from the heroes show!

  • I WOULD LOVE TO BE THE PUPPET MASTER FROM HEROES. Could you imagine controlling everyone? That would be COOL!!

Whoops. Okay. Back to reality. I am just a guy who likes to eat.

  • Yeah that would be awesome! I mean you kinda control peoples choices by review products and giving advice! So thank you for that!

  • I try to show you guys an unedited (somewhat) version of how it would look in an ordinary kitchen and not a Hollywood studio.

  • i want to eat too

    look like very delicious.

  • My mom is the coolest even if she didn't buy that stuff. But she's even cooler because she does.

My mom is a little Italian lady who doesn't take crap from anyone. She raised us three boys to be the same way. Two things. Be the best at what you do and always be nice. I am who I am because of her. Love you, mom!!!

  • hey jakatak69, i just bought one thanks to your review, its awessoooome, bolognese for breakfast lunch and dinner

  • Good for you. I am glad you like it. it's perfect everytime.

  • that makes sense

  • 12mins doesnt it take like 8 on the stove?

  • yeah, but I would rather spend 12 minutes to make sure it's perfect every time than 8 minutes and i have to judge whether it's ready or not.

  • you should be on tv u mave such good videos

  • umm you called spaghetti, macaroni wow

  • when I was growing up my mom called it either macaroni or pasta. We never really said spaghetti because we ate so many different types. Linguini, speghettini, angel hair, etc. We never knew which was which. The only dif was the thickness. So we grew up just using the general terms pasta and macaroni. That would cover whatever we were eating at the time.

  • ok srry i didnt know

  • you have nothing to be sorry about. It was a great question. Sometimes I says stupid things and I need people to remind me to speak proper. Thanks.

  • Did yew try egg genie yet? ^_^ I wanna see that!

  • It's pasta. Pasta always rules.

  • try that egg genie i wonder if ts cool

  • SUBCRIBED

  • wow i think i found my 3rd fav channle of youtube :D

  • macaroni? don't you mean spaghetti?

  • Macaroni, pasta, spaghetti. They all are pretty much interchangeable.

  • i love your shows my mom watched some of the and she cooks way better now :)

  • dude you rock i love infomericals so much can you please try bendaroos i want to get them for my cousins but i dont know if they work???

  • what are bendaroos? If it's food related I can do it.

  • Bendaroos aint food related. Its some kind of string that you can use to make stuff, like little pigs.

  • well then I guess we won't be doing that video. No biggie.

  • do miracle blades, i really want to know if i can cut a pineapple in half in a quick swoop without even holding the pineapple

  • Came across this video and you and really enjoyed it! That product I wonder about though! Cant you just put any pasta in any container? Is it a special plastic? Being all in one is convient but if it was more that 30 bucks its a rip. I bet that lid gets hot and warps after awhile! Remember that stand up container where you add hot water? Never bought it but heard it was junk! What bugs me is they made it (and $) and I didnt! By the way you look like Ice T! I am a fan if you are going undercover!

  • OK. Where do I start.

you probably could put pasta in any plastic, but the water and pasta measurements have to be just right.

I have always been told I look like the guy from Toy Story 2 who stole woody. He was Al from Al's Toy Barn. look at my older videos when I wore glasses. Oh boy that scared kids. :-)

  • I put it in with the lid on by accident and it blew up the microwave and burnt half my kitchen apart

  • there's no way. It had venting holes. For it to have blown up it would have to have been combustion. Which would mean completely sealed.

It probably warped the lid and over cooked the macaroni, right?

If it did blow up your kitchen, please send photos.

  • I was kidding, but seriously, be careful if you DO use that because it might make a mess in your Microwave if you leave the lid on

  • Oh man. I really wanted to see the damage. I have had things explode in the microwave. it's not a nice thing. LOL
