  • The bottom line is Michael Brown was a lobbyist who was completely unqualified for the job he was given. He was a scapegoat when things went to hell.

  • Michael Browns new name is now FLOOD IM OUT BROWNIE.

  • it's not necessarily the people in charge, but the whole government structure for things like this is a total disaster. it could happen again tomorrow.

  • Its quite entertaining how most of you braindead people post comments just to bash Michael Brown.

Don't worry about what he says. If you can't attack the issue, attack the man.

  • Frankly, I think this guy is an unqualified dick. However, I do think he was clearly not the only incompetent fool to blame in this disaster and he became the main patsy. I worked volunteer work on the state level and you do need a lot of preparation that is often non-exsistant because the gov doesn't want to put funds towards it. The whole thing still makes me want to vomit. And we are screwed in a hurricane hits Long Island and NYC.

  • Heckova job brownie

Heckova job bush, cheney, rumsfeld, wolfowitz, silverstein, chertoff

Heck of a job you corrupt greedy warmongers

I wish there was a hell for people like you.

There is plenty of blame to spread around.

  • well said beastshawnee

  • It shouldn't have taken the loooooong days in hundred degree heat and drowning waters to get those people outa there. Period. Yes, the administration was too busy chasing imaginary terrorists. 9/11 has been proven to be an inside job, with scientists, engineers, ex-CIA, ex 3 star generals, architects, steel experts, etc providing the proof. No court will take any of it. Our country is corrupt. These leaders need to be tried for treason. Why would they care about Katrina victims? They want money

  • This is an amazing interview. It's always important to get

the other side of the story. I was surprised by

how articulate and prescient Brown's comments were.

It's like most big/bloated companies. They only improve

when people leave in disgust and write scathing letters

in which management only then will take seriously.

I respect Brown. Not for his handling of Katrina, but

for his frank candidness in this video.

  • It's funny how everyone who should have made a difference in this disaster had an excuse for why they didn't do what must be done....It is also horrible that I-15 years old at the time had better intel than DHS and FEMA combined......sad.

  • Does anyone else notice how his story kept changing what a fucking ass.

  • I really.. really.. really hate him.
