Ah nice, the first radio station you pull in I hear Denny Matthews of the Royals.. Nothing says Kansas and midwest and spring like these storms, tornado warnings, and Royals baseball
I Remember something like this! I live in Downtown Wakita Oklahoma and i seen something alot like this they say they reported a F-2 tornado that hit Uptown wakita in may 3 1999
if i lived in tornado alley i would just live in my cellar lol cause they have so many in the USA but i live in Clagary Alberta Canada so i dont have to worry about anything
yea I remember that day, we were out driving when the sirens went off like 2 blocks from home....I had just moved to Kansas from Colorado, won't soon forget that lol!! Scared the crap outta my dog!
I've been a Chaser for a few years now, and the one thing that really irritates me is seeing people (much like in this video) ignore sirens. I can almost guarantee if something were to happen to these two, they would blame someone else for their loss and lack of common sense. Goes to show how ignorant people are these days!
I lived in tornado alley most of my life. A tornado warning covers many miles in a county. The chance of one hitting you is very slim. If you keep track of the tornado by watching local coverage you usually have plenty of time to take shelter. Often they can predict down to a few minutes which neighborhood will be in the target area. There is no need to spend possibly hours huddled in a shelter because your county is under a warning. Common sense enters into it.
None of what you said really has any sense to it though. Obviously you don't need to spend "hours" in a shelter. And to say you can keep track of the Tornado on a local coverage is about the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard!! If you've lived in Tornado alley you would know that cross winds cause power outages, well with no power comes no TV! Second, they cannot predict the path of a Tornado. You Sir are exactly what I was referring to as being "Ignorant"
Job well done, commenting on something I posted MONTHS ago. A sissy for seeking shelter? I guess Oklahoma is one of those states who lack an IQ. I'll remember when driving through the state to disregard injured civilians as they were devastated from a storm. No problem on my end as I will have more time to chase! Thanks for the tip!
,,He's right, & if your ever visiting Oklahoma in the winter be sure not to wear a coat during cold temps as this is considered what "pussies" do & deserve an ass stomping !
i consider ppl who dont tha biggest morons on tha face of tha planet. u wanna get hit wit debri go tha fuck ahead it aint just gittin sucked up u gotta worry about. thats tha problem tha south got sum of tha stupidest traditions wen it comes to flexin nuts haha.

typical Kansans: standing at the door instead of seeking shelter. Remember, the Stones would say: Gimme shelter.........

Well, that may be what you little kids do, but I find it very hard to believe adults think this way. But then again, it is Oklahoma!
