When I was younger, I remember playing syphon filter and was so good at it, then i got 2 and i failed, but prevailed (<3 cheats/hints) and i got 3, and was good until a part where i had to dodge mines or something, and I tried for hours, couldn't do it. Honestly, I don't really see why people your commentary sucks. I found it interesting and helpful at times. The only problem I have is that you talk over cutscenes.

As for this game... it's not as good as 2, but this is still the only game I can think of that takes place on all 6 populated continents in the world! Not to mention they got authentic voice actors for every region: Japanese, Aussie, South African, Irish, Spanish. Except for the Afghans, they just used generic accented English...

Honestly, the style differs from person to person. Some people are talented to do it while recording and others follow a script or do it after recording the game. Some can talk during cutscenes, others are told to shut up during them.

May have taken me a long time to realize it, but commentary just wasn't something I was meant to do. I leave that to other talented people like LuizPrower, PyramidFace87, DarkSydePhil, Hellfirecomms, Necroscope86, Kilplixism, and many more.

Researching the game and taking notes on gameplay. Also reading more and even listening to other commentators or narrators will make you a better speaker.

In Resident Evil: Director's Cut, it's just a different take on the main game. Enemies are stronger, there are more of them, some puzzles are different, items are in different places, characters have different costumes, some camera angles are different, etc.

On Syphon Filter 2 (Hard Mode), I don't think just one body shot will always work. If I remember correctly, depending on where you hit the person, (the body not the head) you'll kill him. I think if you shoot his hand or leg, that won't kill him. But if you shoot him in the chest or the upper back, that'll kill him.
