Airlines from both North and South America need to learn a lesson from this. It's like they got everything wrong when designing their interiors, choosing their menus, and training their flight attendants. Essentially any airline from North or South America is a complete failure. They should put a picture of like a Delta plane on failblog.
Sounds like a whining kid in those last few seconds. What's an insolent child doing in Business Class? Hope he didn't keep that up throughout your flight, however long (or short) it was ;-)
wtf the seats are not automatic? u mean u have to get out of ur seat in order to do so? reminds me of the seat of the back of a car.. but with quilt instead of luggage lol..
yea because its cheaper to have it as an automatic. The seat is too big, and a big motor will be needed to make it turn into a bed. More weight means more fuel. Thats why its automatic.
Yes. It is very easy and all a pax has to do is grab a lever at the top of the seatback, push it forward to pull the seat down, then flip over the extension. Should be less than 30 seconds.

As xxquiker said, there are benefits to the system SIA has chosen.
1. it saves weight
2. as a consequent of 1#, it save fuel
3. it precludes the chance of anything going wrong like in mechanical lie-flat seats
4. the design would make a motor too bulky to fit and would not work

Can you see the First Class video as well?
S7r0ng3r 4 years ago
There is no First Class video as New First Class passengers experience an exclusive turn down service performed by the cabin crew.

Nice.... Is it possible to get an upgrade(From economy to first)?
Or would the Business Class passengers get priority to get upgraded there?

The cabin crew do it for them? How does it fold out? Is it in any way similar to what we see here?
S7r0ng3r 4 years ago
yes
first class seats are design the same way as business. The only difference is that they get a turn down service.

Cool. But can one do it himself?

For First Class? Cool!
S7r0ng3r 4 years ago
Yes, both classes. But in F they will prob. insist that they do it for you as they do their signature turn-down service in F.
